Found some cool stuff in Brossard today. The Game Buzz in the Champlain Mall has the TF monopoly game, not sure about the price.

Brossard Walmart has Dropkick, Recon Barricade, and 2 copies of the TF movie game for PC...

Costco in Oakville (Dundas, just west of Winston Churchill) has Ultimate Bumblebee in. I think the price was $73, so significantly less than Zellers or TRU. Unfortunately I already picked one up for the higher price tag... Oh well...

Anyone else go to the toy convention in Montreal today? There was some great stuff - I nabbed me a spare reissue Thundercracker for $45 bucks, and a G1 Grimlock in exquisite condition, all of his accessories included and stickers applied, for $75! I wish I'd brough more cash, there were tons of loose G1s in great shape for nice prices! MP Screamer was there for $125, too - not as bad as I thought it would be.

I saw the loose G1 table, but I didn't get anything. I was willing to spend $100 on the MP Screamer, but alas, Toys On Fire charged more than I'm willing to spend, as usual. I did manage to get the only Robot Heroes Decepticon Sneak Attack pack I saw. I'm leaving it MISB!

Frankly, I was expecting Screamer to be somewhere in the neighborhood of $145 or so - seeing him for 125 was something of a pleasant surprise. I was that close to picking him up until I decided to take one last look around. There were actually two loose G1 tables, one right across from the other, stuck behind a display stand - that's where I found Grimmy. Had I an extra $150 to throw around (lolz, as if), I'd have picked up the Shockwave that was sitting there too. They had a Frenzy for $20 bucks, but no accessories (only thing that stopped me), each of the Insecticons for under thirty, and Swoop and Snarl, too. I wish I had not bought that MP3 player earlier in the week; stupid stupid stupid. >_<

I too have acquired the Attack Pack, and am as well leaving it MIB. That's what I love about those little guys, you don't feel guilty for not taking them out to transform them because...they don't! :P

I was dismayed by the utter and complete lack of Classics however. Apart from ToysOnFire's table, there was nothing, and they didn't have Bumblebee, Megs, or even Op and Jetfire as far as I saw.

Yeah, Classics Screamer for what, was it 35 or 40 bucks? Either way, it was a crap price.

I figure I'll just try to get an MP Scream off ePay, if I really want him.

Afaik, Classics Screamer was going for 45 bucks last I recall. But that was at their store. Glad I picked me up 2 at retail when I did. Wish I'd gotten me another Bumblebee though.

EBay's probably a better bet as they're flooded with MP-Screamers now. I've seen them go for about 80 bucks, but I've had mostly bad luck with TFs and Ebay and tend to avoid whenever possible.

Yeah, I try to avoid ePay as well, but without it, I wouldn't have my BW Rattrap or my Classics Megs.

80+shipping doesn't sound like a bad price for Scream. But I think I'll wait until after Christmas, as I'd prefer to buy gifts for my family before I blow more $$$ on myself! :P

By all rights, I should have had Classics Megs by now, but he was one EBay win I got gypped on. Sent the money, no response, complaint made. I almost got screwed out of MP-Megs as well, but managed to get my cash back. Mind if I ask who or where you acquired yours from on the off chance they've got more?

Ach, Christmas is just about here, innit? Phooey. Just when my Grimlock was giving me more of an urge to hunt down some loose G1s...a practice I've shied away from. >_<

But..but...I also really need that Madman Headmasters DVD set! ARGH! **head explodes**

Here's the page of the Classics Megs I bought. The seller had more, but they're not listed any longer. Damn it, I should have thought about you and given you a link; sorry...

This one doesn't sound too bad.

Awk! As it turns out, it's going to have to wait for another time - I was given the opportunity today to put some cash down on an unopened MP-01 Prime (FINALLY), and with Christmas shopping yet to do, my bank is officially broken. Like they say, every time a door closes...

The flyers don't have TF-related sales this week, major bummer.

Well, there is this one:

Toys R Us Canada: Sale from December 8 to December 14:
30% off all Star Wars toys (except Lego Star Wars and video games), including SWTFs, which are now marked down to $13.97.

I found a whole bunch of the Bumblebee "Evolution of a Hero" set at the Haney Place mall Zellers. Hopefully one of them will still be around tomorrow for me to pick up on the way home from my final exam.

Oh, and they had two Leader Megs, too. Hopefully one of them will still be there next weekend.
