LaSalle Wal-Mart got in Ultimate Bumblebee.
LaSalle TRU has a couple of things from the new line, but shiny yellow Camaro seekers, of course, need not investigate. They've still got a Thundercracker and a rescue Ratchet, but hardly anything else of note.

Of interest is the fact that I've yet to see Recon Barricade anywhere yet.

TRU has received Wave 1 of the Movie Robot Heroes.

No metallic finish Megs or Rat for Canada. We got a stupid 3" Titanium figure alongside the 32 page booklet and DVD in a box set. Pathetic. Still happy overall that I have the DVD though and it is better than nothing. Hardly an 'exclusive' though.

Meh, I ended up getting the 3" Titanium Galvatron with my Best Buy Gift Set, who I wouldn't mind having, but didn't want to buy on it's own. It says on the back that there are 4 different figures, one of the other ones being Optimus Prime (he's on the back of the box). Who were the other two?

well, this is how it went for me today.

morning 10am - bestbuy door opens

bought exclusive gift set with figure and book
opened it in car.......no book but got the hotrod fig
bottom line.....returned it for full refund

morning 10:15am - futureshop
bought metal autobot case.....love it

10:30am - walmart
fiance bought two pack set with prequal
LOVE IT

the bestbuy exclusive was a waste of my time and money.
what a disappointment

maybe they should've provide a litho or an actual transforming transformer to make it that more interesting.

overall i'm disappointed

Yeah my friend was kind enough to pick one up for me. If only they released all the other Leaders through COSTCO.

Possible great news for CDN collectors. News today that Walmart, The Bay and Zellers are forging ahead with parity pricing now that the $CDN is worth $1.03 vs the $US to offset the huge increase in cross-border shopping with the $CDN's rise:

Paying $70 CDN for a Leader figure may be at an end. $45 CDN sounds a whole lot better. Doesn't it?

Preaching to the choir my friend. It is going to be a great Xmas if there is a wholesale price correction across the board.

Good news about the price reductions! Let's hope they apply it to Transformers fairly quickly.

On a sightings/acquisition note, I picked up Dreadwing at the Zellers sale. I wasn't initially keen on him, which is why I waited for a sale, but he's pretty cool. I was turned off that his hands were just missiles, but if you take them out, the thrusters can move, so they can be made to look like hands.

Other than that, and the fact that he's the very definition of "top-tall" , pretty cool fig, way better than Swindle (though Payload's still my favorite drone).

My only question is this though: what are those springy things on his chest for?

I was lucky at Zellers as they had a tonne of Leaders on the shelf. All the deluxes were already sold out. Picked up Brawl and Megs for $50.

Dropkick will hit shelves within a week or two. Any time you see a sale in a flyer and they are advertising a new fig (Recon Barricade, who is packed with DK) your bownd to see them.

Wal-Mart: Voyager Starscreams and Ironhides galore, a few Leader Megses, and some Robot Replicas. Sold out of deluxes, and have been for some time now.

Zellers: Your one-stop Leader Brawl shop, there were a few there today, as well as some movie Robot Heroes. There's a War Within Titanium Ultra Magnus sitting there, but no sign of any Deluxes or Voyagers.

Haven't checked TRU in a little while, but I'll do that Wednesday.

Place Longueuil Zellers has basically nothing more than a single Leader Megs. No Deluxes except for Cybertron Optimus Primal. The pegs are bare, save for a few Cyber Slammers and some Robot Heroes.

Especially good news, what with my job screwing me over and laying me off in the months leading up to Christmas. However, I'll likely be able to find a new job, the problem is finding one that pays as much.

So here in the Lower Mainland there isn't much to choose from. The TRU Real Gear sale will hopefully clear up some room for stuff we actually want... I guess I'm really only looking for a Voyager Prime at this point, and then I'm nearly done the movie line.

Zellers had almost nothing so I can't take advantage of the sale.

Ages Three and Up does have some newer deluxes, however, including the Target Exclusive Bumblebee Evolutions 2-pack and Recon Barricade.

Saw both Dropkick and Recon Barricade at Winston Churchill & Hwy. 401 Wal-Mart. I took the only Dropkick. There also was quite a few Payloads and a '08 Bumblebee.

Ya, I also saw them both at Uxbridge Wal-mart. I hope you did a price match from Zellers TDK. If you didn't, take a flayer to Wallys and have them re-imburse you.
