what the heck happened to my post with all the dragstrip pictures???? wtf.
I guess I'll go dig them up again. Man, that's messed up.
Anyway, I promised that I'd have pics up tonight since I FINALLY got the trailer/base done, so here you go
I'm going to appologize in advance, a couple of these are really wide thanks to the trailer, but you want to get a good look right?

alright, here's the Dragstrip pictures again. Hopefully this time it stays
First is the picture I used for inspiration:

Hope you guys notice the visor! I tried to homage both cartoon and toy versions of these guys in all of them.

Thanks guys
I still have 3 robots left to show, plus the trailer base, but don't worry, the combined mode is certainly not far off now! Here's Breakdown, I wanted to ensure that both he and deadend didnt' look like twins or like Hotrod, so I hope I succeeded. I have him transformed so the spoiler is just above the hips, to help with the homage to the original toy as well as for the reasons mentioned above. hope you like!

wow, nobody likes breakdown hu? Any particular reason??
Well, I'm gonna go ahead and post up Deadend. There's a comparisson shot included so you can see how he and Breakdown are different. for DE, I modified the head so that he sports both a visor and also a mouthplate as well. I've kept the canopy down for DE so that he sports a different look too. Oh yeah, to help illustrate that he's a darker red than Hotrod, I have a shot with the three of them also. Maybe you'll like him.

Thanks for the comments guys
I'm going to go ahead and post tonight's update early today because I'm heading out for the rest of the day to see some family, and won't be back till sometime tomorrow. So I hope you guys enjoy Motormaster! Besides the obvious head-swap, the forearms are modified as well. Putty to extend the square-shaped molding, and then a second hold inserted in it. This is where the combiner arms connect. Oh, and the head is fully articulated now too. Prime's head is simply riveted on, so you only have side-to-side swivel. I cut a hole and added a balljoint.

The faux cab on the feet is a really nice touch.
Dead End and Breakdown are relly nice too. I'd be nice if they were different molds, so they'd stand out like the work you did on the other 3. The colour schemes work well on both of them tho. Lower profile on Breakdown's hood scoop would probably be my only suggestion.
Finally got around to trying that krylon burgandy today. It can look pretty red depending what you paint it over. I'll have to keep that in mind when I get to my Dead End repaint.

I may have to make myself 2 more MMs, just so I can have one in each of his modes at the same time cause I love all of his forms :lol
Ok, here's the trailer base. The original MM could not just be a robot and a semi and a torso, but also a base, to further drive-home his similarities with Optimus Prime. As part of the whole Scramble-city gimmick, he could even be combined with any of the City-formers such as Metroplex or Trypticon to extend out their base modes. With that in mind, I wanted to make the trailer for my Classics MM also turn into a base. I thought it would be awesome to homage not just the original base, but that it could do the whole Scramble City aspect too. I hope you guys think I succeeded.
There's a couple of thinks that I really got excited to do when their ideas first popped in my head, lets see if anyone notices them!
