Oh, come on, it's OBVIOUSLY a repainted Starscream.

Look at the photographs of the jet mode. It's Starscream with some blue styling on the tips of the wings. The rest of Starscream's color scheme is intact, including the missile launchers (although the barrels have been painted blue)

The close-up photograph of Thundercracker's face features small red chips near the fans in the chest where the grey paint has flaked off.

In addition, if you look at the left foot (it appears on the right in the image where the figure is facing you, there's a large spot of unpainted blue from Starscream's blue feet.

Finally, the gold trim on the knees isn't completely covering the residual blue paint underneath.

My Classics Thundercracker custom paint job is superior to this schlock.

If this is the real deal then maybe Hasbro could release Thundercracker in the right colors later on. Also if it is really the con exclusive I may not feel so bad now for not being able to get it :grin:

Seibertron, I think it's a "Fan" repaint as you can see some of the red paint from the Starscream mold. I'm just pissed that this is going to be a Botcon exclusive and it seems that the Classic line is not going to continue...

Wow, even for a fan-made custom that's kinda meh. Hopefully that's the case, cuz if it's not, I'd feel like I was getting ripped for the set(if I was to buy it).

This better not be legit. First of all, making the other seekers such exclusive items is bad business. Second, that's a horrible Thundercracker. Definitely looks like a hand-painted repaint of Starscream. I want to see a real Classics Thundercracker, plus an entire continuation of the line. I'll just hope they're going to do that post-movie.

Most likely, it is an April Fools Day Joke.
However, this might actually be a stolen BC07 figure of Thundercracker.

If it is legit, and that is the BC07 repaint....I will laugh all day long. Laugh 'til it hurts.

Fan made or legit, that's a terrible repaint.

I still think it sucks that they will be releasing them as exclusives. I can't attend Botcon nor can I afford the prices for the exclusives online. Shame on Hasbro if they don't eventually release the Seekers regularly in retail like Starscream and Co.

I'd think dying the body of Starscream would yield better results in making a Thundercracker, rather than an actual painting.

It permeates the plastic, gets in deep. No splotches, no wear, etc.

Anyone got any tips? Might be worth buying another SS figure to do that with.

Could be legit. Dirge is blue as well, and they are possibly trying to avoid seeming to scam everyone by having two identical looking jets in the set. Not that they can really hide their con act anyway.

Ever since these assclowns took over the Convention, it's been a total ripoff, anyway. Repaints of $10 figures that are clogging toy shelves near you for 500% profit per figure. 'Souvenir' figures that complete the assrape by insuring you'll go to the convention, so you get to go see the world's largest ball of twine.

Sorry Master Collector, I'll just buy some of the Ramjets and Starscream's filling the peghooks near me and create my own Seeker set for around $60. Dillholes.

My thoughts exactly, same goes for the hasbro club exclusives, Not worth the money they sell them for.. I was thinking of doing the same thing with the seekers and paint all my own..
