You rub and heat the label up until the insignia of the "Faction" appears telling you which side the Transformer is affiliated with. I always loved those.

You mean the same labels that were used on the Classics figure only a couple years ago? I'm pretty sure any of us who were around for G1, let alone the reuse for classics would have a hard time remembering about those.

Once I ran an Anime festival with over 6,000 attendees. Now... not so much.

I bought the reissued Takara Prowl but I never took him out of the box and I don't remember seeing one... ook yeah it's right on his hood. Good to know that the kids must have seen those. I wish they would have placed one on Unicron but then again he isn't really affiliated to a certain faction is he? I was just looking at my classic mini cassette of Frenzy and I just noticed that he doesn't have a black label. I took off his weaponry to look all over his little robot mode form and I can't find the label. My brother had two Frenzy's, I'll check out the other one which is packed away with all the other Classic Decepticons. was he just too small to place a label on? I think Ravage has one. Not sure about Rumble, Laserbeak and Buzzsaw. Image

Yes, they should all have a rub symbol on them. I know Ravage and Laserbeak/Buzzsaw do.

I went back through my brother's box of Decepticons and found the other Frenzy he has. And this Frenzy has the rub label on his lower back and he appears so much finer. This other one I never noticed before, I think came from a friend of his who lived down the street when we were kids. I believe this second Frenzy was a rip off/generic Transformer. He doesn't have the rubbing label and the quality of the dark blue plastic to Frenzy's head and upper body isn't buffed or shiny enough. I thought this was due to age but the other one does, and where he should have gold gilding designs to his chest, it's a silver. And he is also missing his sticker decals. Wow, all these years. I wonder if my oldest brother knew this was a fake? Thats really funny to find a fake Frenzy. :P I'm going to call him and tell him... I hope he didn't trade an Authentic Transformer for this fake? :?
