Damn, what a mighty fine way to end the series. So much action and fun stuff!!!

Guests galores...and the first Jhiaxus full body pose, and he reminds me of protoform movie Starscream. Also, Nemesis (Nove) Prime did not look like his normal self. I really liked the earlier designs and was hoping that is what would be stuck with.

So all of the sudden we get SCorponok, and as a headmaster...!?! I mean it was hinted at, but confounded if we know how he became the wreck that he was seen here.

Hunter left Sunstreaker's head, but said he was now Sunstreaker. So they are just going to leave Scorpy's and Sunny's heads hanging in a half sentient and conscious matter, as they interact in other ways with the headmaster partner and their bodies.

How does Sky-Watch plan to control the big guys if they can't control Ravage and Laserbeak?

Hot Rod made an interesting choice, and Hardhead's choice had nothing to do with becoming a HM like was previously thought. I guess we were looking at it a little too deeply.?.

Galvatron pretty much kicks all kinds of @$$! Wow, he just has all sorts of powers. And he seems to be thinking of a doublecross against Nova Prime because I 'heard' how he said, "I serve the expansion," in the same way that I 'heard' Starscream answer Megatron saying that he served 'the Decepticon cause'.

BTW Megs is forgiving isn't he? And poor ol' Runamuck and Runabout...plastered.

I know he was shot in the head by Magnus back in that Spotlight, but the damage didn't seem all that severe.

This was a great issue. A shame about Runamuck and Runabout though. Out of a large available cast of minor players, they seem to be the two who die in every single comic continuity. At least Runabout wasn't eaten this time.

I think I read that issue like, 7 times last night, plus multiple flipping through previous issues, to refference things. I remember waking up around 12:30 am and the issue was next to me and I didn't remember going to sleep.

First wow for me: Megs and Scream makeing ammends.

I think they must have come to a similar truce earlier. I remember in Infiltration Megs telling Scream that he thought they had moved past their disagreements and that he was disapointed. Seriously, no relationship between two fictional characters of any universe ever has fascinated me more than the thing between those two. I really don't think Megatron would have called "moot point" on anyone else for the same transgression. (Lets not forget Ramjet.) When Megs tells Scream to take him and let loose Armageddon on the Reapers, Scream seams almost zealous about him. I seriously think Starcream loves Megatron so much he hates him, and the feeling is mutual. I don't know how else to describe it. (In fangirl daze right now.)

I'll post more of my reaction to the issue later.

Here are some big questions I have:

Who are those three jets at the end of the Reapers fight? Starcream says "us" but I don't understand what it means.

When will the Decepticons find out about Scorpinok/Dante? Will HotRod find him first?

Where will Sunstreaker/Hunter go? He doesn't know that Prime and the others have left. How will he meet up with HotRod?

What will Galvatron do with Sixshot? Did he take him back with him? If so... What will Jihaxus do with Sixshot!!!

Focus on the Decepticons!?! OMG CAN'T WAIT! Is it "All Hail" ?

I would really like to read this, but after having my comics stolen, I just don't buy single issues now. So I'm waiting till the tpb.

Sounds interesting though. I was really hoping for Sunstreaker to do some sociopathic slaughtering of Decepticons...

What does this mean for Headmasters now tho, they need to be all hardwired into a load of wires and crap and just be some form of remote control.

Seems to me that the head with no body has very little defence if someone gets up close and personal.

I get the feeling that Scorponok will be KO'd this way and you'll see Dante being fully in charge of Scorponok in the same way as it happened in the Marvel comics with his personality being the driving force behind Scorponok.

On this note, isn't sunstreaker a little up **** creek now as well, hes just a head stuck in machination headquaters with a new hunter head out safe and sound with one of the clone bodies?

I'm sure that we will see that happening , especially when he andSideswipe get back together, because Hunter will have to prove that he is able to be a valid part of 'the brotherhood'.

Agree about the HM's seeming useless. I am ASSUMING that the hanging heads are now useless husks...possibly.

Based on the difference between Dante and Hunters' heads compared to the other headmaster clones, i'd guess that they are slightly different. Especially since Hunter was an experiment meant to directly help scorpinok. While the other headmaster seem to have access to sunstreakers head, they have their own personality. Hunter and Dante seem to become fusions of they own thoughts and the personality thoughts of their respective bots. I bet it's so that the scorpinok can eventually download entirely into the new head because he can't repair his old one. I'm guessing that while scorpinok said that he will 'soon have a new lease on life as well' being with dante as is he can escape temporarily from his condition,but he'll need to download into Dante to make it a permenant solution instead of just whenever dante feels like being a head. With sunstreaker Scorpinok wanted an army of individuals who have headmaster abilities, faster speed, complex logic, access to sunstreakers data. Hunter will probably have to break in and manually download all of sunstreaker into himself to protect him from being attacked by the machination.

In terms of Headmaster Sunstreaker I think the merger between Hunter and Sunstreaker was different than the other Headmaster with Sunstreaker clones. I say this because Hot Rod mentions how they have gone from being a threat to being nothing and none of the other clones refers to themselves as Sunstreaker. There is a panel in #6 where 3 scientists are doing something with Sunstreaker's head and Hunter says their is interference in the line. The Machination may be trying to sever the link between Hunter and Sunstreaker but they wont be able to since Sunstreaker is problaby in the process of completely merging with Hunter thereby eliminating the powers of the clones .All the Machination is doing is putting a crink in the process. The clones attacking Hot Rod are expendable.

The question that needs to be asked is where is Sunstreaker's spark core. Presumably, it is where the head is and Furman said that a Transformers cant live without its brain and spark being connected somehow. Since Headmaster Sunstreaker is technically a new being did a new spark develop in its spark core. Do the clone bodies have spark containers?

The difference between Skywatch controlling the Tapes and the Dinobots is that the tapes are bonded to Soundwave. I do think that since Grimlock supposedly isnt "ready" the incomplete control over him will lead to him regaining his mind and free the other dinobots. I dont know what will happen with Soundwave. I suspect his brain fuctions may be too complex for Skywatch to supress.

I think Hot Rod and Sunstreaker run into each other next. Either just by chance or because a giant robot Scorpion is chasing him and blowing things up.

In regards to Scorponok through the entirety of this new IDWverse there hasnt been any mention of what standing he has with Megatron. We know that through the Ultra Magnus Spotlight that there is a treaty between the Autobot and Decepticons called the Code of Interplanetary Conflict to prohibit Cybertronian tech from falling into 3rd party hands. Ultra Magnus was going to send Swindle back to the Decepticons to face their judgement by military tribunal. I wonder at this stage if Megatron was to learn about Scorponok being on Earth would he overlook his crimes for the greater Decepticon cause on Earth. I suspect that Scorponok follows his MO and leaves Earth once he realizes that Megatron is there and doesnt take any chances. He probably figures between Megatron and Ultra Magnus being on his tail whenever is presence is uncovered that it is best not to take any chances since he achieved his main goal.

In regards to Headmasters in general I think once the Autobots like Jetfire get a hold of Sunstreaker they will be able to recreate the technology.

Did Galvatron take Sixshot? If so, was it planned or just an unexpected bonus?

I think Soundwave now hooks up with Megatron and they eventually get Shockwave back too.

So what are Prime and Hound's unit going to do? Chase down Banzaitron and Monstructor? On who's orders did Bonzaitron act on? Megatron or is another rogue Decepticon? Swindle was there and we know he was out on his own doing dirt. Did DoubleDealer spill the beans on Monstructor somehow?

Lastly, how in the world is the Earth going to survive with just the Dinobots and Sunstreaker against a Decepticon force that includes Megatron, the Seekers and possibly Soundwave and Shockwave?

I'm glad you mention that. The same thing was on my mind after reading D#6, I went back and re-read Spotlight UltraMagnus. So am I to understand that Scorponok originally inteneded to Headmaster with Mo Zarak?

Considering that Zarak had undergone Cybertronian enhancements before dying you could make that assumption. Scorponok genuinely seemed distraught at Zarak's death indicating that he was more than a pawn.

I feel like Scorpinok is a criminal because he wants power rather than simply because he wants to do those things. He's willing to do whatever it takes to gain his own freedom and power, so i don't forsee any team ups between Scorpinok and Megatron.

As for Galvatron and Sixshot, it appeared to me that he came across him during his mission and took him for his own purposes. The last page seemed to imply that he had not told Nova Prime about his aquisition, but that Prime was aware of what he had done.

Man, i love this series.

Loved the issue, and loved the series- it's just getting better and better. That one page picture of Scorponok's half destroyed head was probably my favourite piece of art from the IDW Transformers comics so far since it just seemed really graphic.

I thought it was typical Hot Rod to go off on his own to find Sunstreaker despite Optimus Prime ordering all the hands to return so they could leave Earth. I guess maybe Hot Rod's going to find Sunstreaker, then they'll find the Dinobots and take on the Decepticons? Also, has Ironhide actually been recovered now? I read the issue on the way home this morning, but I can't really remember.

The upcoming All Heil Megatron series makes me think it's going to be like something similar to that Rhythms of Darkness issue from the old Marvel comics.

Overall, IDW are going a brilliant job with Transformers. I've never been as excited about comics as I am with this series of Transformers.

This issue was pure ownage, especially the bit where Galvatron shows up and infects the Deathbringer.

I wonder what other powers he might have...

Man was this issue ever awesome! I loved it, every frame packed with good stuff, of course my same old complaint that it feels to short! I can't wait for the next bit of this series!

I was wodnering about poor old Ironhide?Does he make it back with Hardhead, and I assume that Wheeljack does to since only a pile of wrecked cars feel on him. I'm now really interested in this Dead Universe stuff and it looks like Sixshot may be Galvatron's ace in the hole.

I'm really wondering about Sunstreaker. Is he still a control point for the other headmasters? or has he and Hunter merged minds and such? I guess we'll have to wait and see. I'm really curious about Variety and the other guy (forget his name) since they are alive, though if there are any side effects to being dead we don't know yet, but Prime did have them come along for the trip. So I'm really curious what is going to happen to them.
