He has been a: Tank, Jet, Dragon, Aligator, Dinosaur, Spaceship, and even a car.

Not really... I watched all the cartoons and had the toys as a kid. Watched the movie and I thought Megatron turned into a gun.

I guess I'm too lazy to look it up on the web It's been what, over 20 years since I watched or played with Transformers!

Well before hell rains on you, as others have said, yes he was a gun in the very first series, but after that have changed to all those things previously listed. MY first Megatron was the Dragon I believe with Prime as the firetruck... ANYWAYS yeah Bay did away with the idea as there was no shapeshifting going on in this movie (it was going to be as realistic as a movie about giant robots that change into vehicles can be) so that ment megs would be only 1 ft tall, not all that atimidating. So Bay made him a cybertronian jet letting him be 30+ feet tall. Besides like Bay put it, having Megs be a gun would be like Vader being his own lightsaber, a valid point IMO, not so much for others.

EDIT: Why is fire truck sensored as if it's a bad word??? LMAO wait I probably don't want to know >_<. Been gone way too long...

If you want to invest in some childhood nostalgia, you can get Masterpiece Prime and Masterpiece Megatron for fun (those are the big guys in the picture)!

Lol, I visited home a couple weekds ago and found my old Optimus Prime and Megatron from an old box - they are in a little rough shape but brought back memories. Optimus is now on my desk at work.

So why did they not include Optimus's trailer? Or is that a dumb question too?

omg i remember when the whole "it's supposed to be g1..... and it's not g1!!!!!!!!!" issues of 2006 happened........ mass board carnage...... it was a sad time.... many geewhunnerzz dreams ripped to shreds...... very traumatizing

It was a ridiculous concept in the cartoon. He never used it, and when it wasn't attached to him, it disappeared entirely.

I'm very glad they got rid of it.

I think a mod has something against RiD Prime's firetruck mode, and censored it.

it makes sense for Megs to be a cybertronian jet. *spoilers* he arrived nearly 1000 years ago, so there would be no machines and certainly no guns. Then again, if there's no machinery to blend in with, why transform in the first place?

Too lazy to look it up? All you would have had to do was look up "Megatron" on Wikipedia and your question would have been answered. Instead you had to find this site through some sort of internet search, register here, and then come on the boards and post. Which one would have taken less effort?

I don't give a firetruck of Megatron becomes a gun or not. As for Prime not having a trailer, I say "firetruck, get over it."
