Yeah, I noticed that as well. I was wondering if they were going to have a storyline at some point where Prime get's a slightly different alt mode that matches the deluxe toy. But it looks like rather than go to the trouble, sometimes he's the firetruck, and then other times he inexplicably turns into just a cab.

Other than that, pretty good episode. Not the way I would prefer to do the dinobots, but it worked nonetheless. The character development is very welcome.

I kinda like the full firetruck look. Hope Hasbro makes a complete figure, and not just the cab. Even if the rest of the truck only turns into a base/repair bay.

I wonder if Lockdown will be another of Megatron's designs. I don't recall he ever being amongst the Decepticons at the beginning of the Premiere special.

Personally, I prefer the cab - but that's just because it's more G1. The Firetruck Prime will be the voyager toy, and the Cab Prime will be the deluxe.

According to Lockdown's bio, he's travelled from one end of the universe to the other and has no allegiance to Megatron. So I'm guessing he's his own guy, but maybe Megatron helps him with 'upgrades'. Perhaps Megatron is responsible for his earth mode.

Ah, what would a Transformers series be without these kinds of bloopers aand inconsistencies? :wink:

Grimlock did spew plasma from his mouth in Transformers the Movie. Remember prior to their escape of Autobot City? He lnocked out one of them Sweeps instantaneously.

I was very impressed with this one and quite surprised at how G1 the Dinobots were. Grimlock is spot on in both modes (apart from the underbite) to how he used to be and considering how far away from G1 theyve gone with everyone else this is a cool thing.

Slag and Swoop do need work. I kinda noticed they didnt even get names. Now i may be over thinking this but this may be because of the international market. Here in the UK Slag is an insult (somewhere along the lines of dirty cheap whore) though it obviously also means melted down metal. In the 80's i gotta say American Marketting had a very very 'whats Yurp?' attitude but these days that could cost them sales so they may be having a rethink.
