Hey, guys! Here is another fan character, a Decepticon named Discord. But lately, he's been thinking of becoming an Autobot. The character was created by Shadowcat9279. She let me have a lot of freedom on this character, requesting that his alt mode be an SR-71. He was a lot of fun.

The second image is the same character, but his Autobot look. I was curious as to how he might look after converting, so I worked up a slight color change and added the Autobot symbol.

Here's a recently completed fan character request of a minibot character named Rattlelatch. His alt mode is a VW Golf. This character was originally created by Shiri L.

While I don't have an appropriate bio, here is a short description of the character offered by Shiri L.

"He's a former burglar, current engineer-in-training, and
dabbles in hacking on and off. He has a built in micro-precision
laser for engineering work (and previously used for picking locks).
He has a genius for up-close, detailed work. He's a terrible shot at long range. He's also
spastic at times and can end up stammering when talking. He isn't
intimidated by taller mechs unless it happens to be an enemy, and
he's deathly afraid of being sent behind enemy lines to do his
work."

the look, color, and bio of Rattlelatch make me think he would be the perfect partner for Hound. I could just see a story where hounds personality and higher rank would make Rattlelatch go on a mission with him where Hound would get to use his holograms to disguise them while they break into a 'con base and maybe rescue hostages or steal some new blueprints or battle plans.

Not a bad design. The name doesn't seem to fit though, IMO. When I hear the name "Discord" I think female character, not male.

The creator of the character is actually a female.

All the more reason for the character to be female as well. Discord was also the name of one of the Greco/Roman godesses, under Ares/Mars. She was a capracious minor diety who sowed chaos and discord among gods and men alike for the pure pleasure of it. As a name, it also sounds feminine. I am actually planning on creating a trio of female Decepticons called the Furies, one of whom will be named Discord. Each of the Furies will be a Decepticon counterpart to one of the three original Autobot Fems under Elita-1--Discord/Moonracer, Malice/Chromia, and Ire/Firestar.

Wel, I have somewhat started on one. I took an LoC Thundercraker and modded the hips for more range of motion, and plan on modding the knees and elbows so they bend. Then I want to make new wings with a reverse sweep. The real trick, aside from reinforcing the wing connection, would be giving the figure a bust and resculpting the head to look more feminine, since the head is where the main hinge connecting the nose cone to the rest of the fuselage is attached. That will be my Discord. Then I still need designs for the other two. I donm't even have designs for them, though I do want Malice to be a bit more on the buff side like an Amazon dominatrix

Hmmm, infortunately I dont know too much about the newer toys, so i cant offer too much advice at this stage on construction - but maybe if you start a thread with some pics i could be of use! It's an awesome idea, anyway, so make sure you keep us updated!



In terms of character design, i like the idea of threes - you could have the big brute Amazon one, the quick petite one, and the leader type is usually in between. It gives a good balance, and makes for a versatile group. Are you thinking about making them each a different type of vehicle, or are you wanting a flight theme? You could come up with some really interesting and challenging combinations - like, who's ever seen a feminine tank? You could be the first to make one.....

If you choose to have a little one, you could even make her a bike or something - it would be very slender, maybe easier to make it look more feminine?

Actually, I already have the Learder role filled by my custom Seeker version of Nightbird; the Furies will be her subordinates. I was also thinking instead of naming the one "Ire", naming her "Tempest" instead.

You should start a thread for this in 'Works in Progress' Tramp, so we can discuss it without hijacking this thread, Heh.


Ire is a good name, but so is Tempest, so either way, it's cool!
