I haven't painted since I was a kid and lets just say that was years ago~
It does take time however, so if you are looking for a hobby this might be it!
The Tamiya Acrylics paints costs $2 a bottle in my area, they work very well!

Kimmer wrote:so the only actual paint you need are those tamiya acrylics? also before repainting, do you have to remove all the old paint first and do you spary it on or paint? sorry for the questions, i'm planning on doing my first repaint soon and want to make sure of everything.

I'm planning exactly the same, to paint the silver parts. But I do have a question, did you have to take the figure apart and paint the parts separately or did you just painted it really carefully as a whole?

Oh randome no TF figures are sheep for whatever slaughter I crave. More Gundams have died at my hands than...
The TFs, Voltrons, and somehow Spider-Men, have become untouchable though.
Still it was cool some time ago a friend of mine got me some comic character called The Mage.
Yo, this guy is me down pat! He came with the same color trench coat I wear, same pulled back hair, T-Shirt, kicks, plane pants, beard...
The only real difference was the crystal baseball bat. So I outfitted him with a coffee cup(painted to match my own) and a bottle for spiking said devil's brew.
I also updated his lightning bolt T-Shirt with a end of one of my only ones so now he's sporting a skull. A spawn skull for the belt buckel, painted his kaki's to jeans, added some wallet chains, and bang, my own Liege Evilmus figure!
I've tweeked alot of other figures into my own origional ideas, but thats the one I'm realy most proud of!

Icetron wrote:Your Jazz is pretty cool, I 'knew' he'd look better like that! I actually bought a few jars of the same paint but I'm too chicken to actually start repainting for now since I'd probably buy an extra toy before I do anyway.
BTW did you use Chrome Silver? Since there's also Titanium Silver, and the Gun Metal colour too.

I'll bring my camera home from work on Monday and give an updated pic.
Also, with only parts surounding him, I have Moltar from Space Ghost Coast to Coast as my bathroom's janitor. The tiny mop and broom where a bitch to find
