Alex Kingdom wrote:This is seriously old news we've known the Takara release of this figure will have different paint apps ever since we heard Takara would be releasing it. The rumour is it will have less or no weathering a little like MP-01 was clean and the Hasbro version had battle damage. I'm also hoping Takara paint his face silver rather than gunmetal, the gunmetal face on the Hasbro version looks out of place and is just a hangover from MP-03 they appear to have forgotten to repaint.

I was actually hoping Skywarp woul dhave the white face he had in the toon, thugh the silver does look spiffy.

Oh my word! your right!
Guess I always had a different image of SS in my mind. As for skywarps/Thundercrackers faces being white I'd say they are more gray, which in 80's cartoons is as close to silver as you get.
So yeah I take it back I'm quite happy with Hasbro's attempt at Starscream, all that remains is to see if Takara can go one better and remove the weathering.
