Fembot WIP

Got a great pic of G1 Op or BW Megs? Whether it's 2-D or 3-D it's welcome as is any other form of art outside the custom figure world.

Fembot WIP

Postby Sonray » Sun Sep 02, 2007 11:02 pm

Well, thanks to the thread posted in this forum regarding pictures of Arcee in a sexy pose i started to play around with the idea in my head and figured id give it a go.

This was originally just meant to be a test to see if i can draw a fembot right, and still make her look attractive.
She came out so well i think i might ink this and color it!

I dont know what to call her yet, but her Alt mode is a pink Mini, and in robot mode she is very small and petite. If she stood next to movie Bumblebee, shed only make it to his waist.

I tried to merge G1 style with new so i hope you like the design.

Any name suggestions would be helpful too! Thanks and enjoy!

EEEEEEEEEEEEP! DOORWINGS! I love doorwings! And I know you said she's petite, but she looks buxom. Which I think adds to the cuteness.

Not bad, but it is a bit confusing. The pose is very well done. I'm not too fond of the head though. Over-all well done, but could use some improvement. keep up the good work. 8)

While not perfect (her waist/hips don't seem to flow properly and she apparently has no forward arm movement) it is nicely drawn.

Sure-the composition and posse could have been preplanned better to give her a more fluid and life like stance-which would over all improve the drawing, as the individual details are fine, but the posse seem sackward and contrived, like she is painfully forcing her self into that pose yoga style, and not relaxing blissfully

Hmm..i copied the pose directly from a picture of a female in the same pose.

I thought it looked awkward too, and just to find out i put myself in the same pose, and it can be done with ease. (i looked very gay)

I think the reason it looks awkward is due to the square robotic parts and the bulky-ness of her chest. It isnt a problem with the drawing at all, just one of those optical illusions as i saw it, tried to fix it, but thats just how it looks.

Anyway, its my first time drawing a fembot, and overall my first time drawing a movie-style Transformer.

Ok, here is the inked final version.

It looks a bit rough as i kinda rushed the inking, plus i dont have very good ink pens and my hand was kinda shaky today too for some reason.

Thanks for offering to color it for me. BTW her colors are just pink, kinda think Arcee but as a Mini. :)

No because the pic is mature.

And i didnt use a life model, i used a referance pic because i didnt feel like coming up with my own pose. I dont need to use life models or any of that.

The pose is perfectly fine, your just trying to pick it apart now.

Nah, the pose is fine. Very much a pose you'd see in something like Sports Illustrated or Maxim or one of those other mags where they try to get their models in some of the most awkward looking poses ever. It's very good, Sonray!

BTW, tires for cleavage = nice touch.
