Scorpion, Mortal Kombat- Scorpion is a member of the Japanese ninja clan Shirai Ryu of Osaka. He is seeking vengeance against those responsible for the death of his clan and his family. His allegiance is not often clear, and he is viewed as the series main anti-hero.
Elektra is a ninja and assassin who wields two bladed sai as her trademark weapon. She has a violent nature and works as a mercenary.
Leonardo is the leader of the teenage mutant ninja turtles. He weilds a pair of katanas. Is named for Leonardo da Vinci.
Snake-Eyes is quiet in his movements and is a swift and deadly master of multiple martial arts. He is an expert in the use of the ninjato. He also is skilled with explosives and firearms. Real name unknown.
Ryu Hayabusa is a skilled ninja and winner of the second DOA Tournament. He is wise and is a strong fighter.
Naruto is a loud, hyperactive, unpredictable adolescent ninja. Believe it!
Goemon Ishikawa XIII is an ally of Lupin the III. He weilds the katana Zantetsuken and is the thirteenth generation of renegade samurai, a descendant of the historical figure Ishikawa Goemon.
Izuna is arrogant and confident in her ninja abilities, though she happens to be unemployed. Still, once she puts her mind to it, she can be a powerful ninja.

Team Pirates- Captain Hook, Captain Jack Sparrow, LeChuck, Ren, Zack, Luffy, Vyse, and Atomsk







Captain Hook has a hook for a hand and does not like a certain crocodile. He's a pretty good swordfighter.
Captain Jack Sparrow likes rum, is funny, and is played by Johnny Depp. He's also a good swordfighter.
LeChuck has three main forms. He is an evil-ghost-pirate. Later, he is an evil-zombie-ghost-pirate. Finally, he is an evil-undead-zombie-demon-ghost-pirate and stone giant. He is also another LucasArts character to be named Chuck, like a certain plant.
Ren is the prince of the once-grand kingdom of Octopon. He weilds the broken sword the belonged to his father. He was on a quest the Thirteen Treasures of Rule, which possessed the combined power to stop an evil substance known as "Dark Water" from consuming the alien world of Mer.
Zack- and his magical monkey partner Wiki- are the main characters of the recently released Zack & Wiki: The Quest for Barbaros's Treasure. With Wiki's help, he can turn numerous creatures into helpful items. Likes cholocate bars.
Vyse is an air pirate and a Blue Rogue. He is optimistic and refuses to give up. Weilds twin cutlasses.
Luffy is the leader of the Straw Hat Pirates. He's very stretchy, very powerful, and loves to eat. Has a bounty of 300,000,000 Beli on his head.
Atomsk is the "Pirate King" He is supposedly the most powerful "space pirate" in the galaxy. His N.O is great enough to steal enitre solar systems.

If the Pirates had something like Space Pirate Ryoko, or maybe the undead Sparrow, it'd be much closer. Luffy could actually tip it for the Pirates, but I'm seeing more players with actual powers for the Ninjas, whereas the Pirates have quite a few who are just regular.

They would win with much greater ease if they had Dr McNinja

while i must give you honorable mention for pulling pirates of Darkwater, the ninjas just have more raw power. Ryoko would have been a great alternate along with Cervantes but then Taki would just about negate the undead Pirate of the SoulCaliber series...
