well... the time has come to end the TF toy collecting for me.
i've decided to get two more deluxe class toys, then i'm out, since the rest of the money (which is quite a bit) goes to studies and school.

Which should I get?
Was originally thinking about Arcee and CC 08 BB, do anyone have a recommendation or dislike of those figs?

to help with the choices i've listed those i got:

Brawl
Wreckage
Jazz
Barricade
(Classic Camaro BB)

is for example Bonecrusher or Swindle any good? i need somewhat... your opinions and recommendations (if any) of the Deluxe figs i've not mentioned in the list of Deluxes i have

well... i could want to, but the economy says no

Leader Class toys here are sold out, and around... 70£ (calculated from norwegian Kr to british £ for example) for em. deluxes are around 20£, while voyagers are 50£-ish

and the scout toys aren't to be seen here.

so Deluxes are the only viable option. for now.

to answer Counterpunch's post: I'd probably be back... but it will be a while until then. Let's just say that the TF collecting spree is on a 50% slowed down rate.

IF i see a Transformer that has a incredible mold, and is more like art than a toy, I'd grab one.

yeah may be school,books and classes for now but the transformers wont let you leave and every time you walk into an isle of a store thell be calling out to you."GET ME GET ME HEY OVER HERE JUST ONE MORE FOR OLD TIMES SAKE."but if you half to choose and only 2 deluxes you should get cc bb 08 and barricade.

already have Barricade though, and i'm actually kind of satisfied with the toy. had it for a while now, and no problems with it at all, the only prob could be the arm with the pop-out action. but that's alright though.

have to have to have to get 08 bb. have to. please? he's so nice to look at. everytime i look at him i go "wow." and the car mode is extremly nice too, except for the kibble popping out towards the back. but 08 bb for sure.everything about him is just aesthetically pleasing, except maybe his face...im kinda picky about faces, and i dont like any movie faces. but he's so bad. get him.

Definately the 09 BB. Its just so perfectly great.
And maybe Jazz/Barricade to go along with him.

But no matter what get the 09 BB.

08 Bumblebee is worth the purchase, but you have all the other Deluxe figures that are worth getting (Wreckage, Barricade).

I'd say to get Bonecrusher to try and get more Movie bots. Arcee isn't a bad figure, but she is not ever going to be one of my top 20 or so either. Swindle is a waste of plastic, he could have been much better, but he feels like he is going to snap at any moment.

Would a FAB Megatron/Frenzy/Ironhide/Ratchet/Starscream/Prime take your fancy? You could nab another movie figure you dont already own for about the same price as a deluxe.

FAb Ratchet is quite good, as is Frenzy and Megatron (cost per suckiness is lower with FAB Megatron)

Leader Brawl(or camo version).
Jazz movie version(when da dvd comes out, his death will explain why watching da movie repeatedly may not be as satisfying, without owning one).

Transformers still & will still rock dat hard.

i stopped and was clean for 3 years.... then this past summer i just back into it and probably have already spent between 500$-700$

i dont know if the repaints are in europe but if you have a target than it should be ther being thats a target exclusive.so your saying you have never seen a recon barricade or anything?

Heh. I've got pretty much the same story, though I think I'm about done with my current splurge.

Anyway, I think Bonecrusher is the best of the lot. Arcee is decent, but not great. Concept Bumblebee on the other hand is totally sweet.

well... at least 08/09 concept BB, that bot almost gave me the "OMG, It's Erector" effect

, so definitely that.

FABs? well... i just like the toys simple, no fancy gimmicks such as the FABs has got.

Bonercrusher is like THE shelfwarmer here, while Swindle is amazingly sold out. (my m8 who works in the local toy store told me this :S)

I am also finished with collecting Transformers for now
With my Pepsi Optimus Prime coming in the mail, and my Target Evolution of a Hero 2 pack coming in the mail also I think I'm finished for now.
Why finished?
Well I really want alot of Video games this year, and with Halo 3 on the way, I want to invest the rest of my money on them. I mean Rock Band alone costs ~$250 so yeah
I'll be back next year for the TF animated series ones. I'll be snagging a Bumblebee and Optimus
