She really, really does need more of the tertiary color to break up her color scheme

Yeah, they pretty much do. So really it shouldn't be an issue. Something cool was created, then put where it is wanted

Even weirder as that's the exact reverse of what's happened before: Rust Dust disappears from the Combined Mode in the IDW comics, yet is present when separated.

I still find it funny that they did minimal retooling to the individual robots to make them any less obviously just redecoed existing figures with new heads...and yet they decided to give the combined mode high-heels.

I mean seriously, imagine the extra budget that could have gone into them if they just gave them standard hand-foot-guns. Heck, they probably could have completely reshelled the vehicle modes so they at least looked slightly less bare-bones-repaint-y. Why does a combiner need high heels anyway?

Ah well. Maybe Takara will give them the Devastator treatment for their UW line.

Is it wrong that I would actually be interested in that?

Takara would probably have no interest in Victorion other than a few paint app differences. Changing the vehicle shells would be going in the face of the fan polls

It's great that people complain about this one, yet say they like thunder mayhem, who is objectively the worse CW style combiner.
