I open this new topic to catch curious or newsworthy steps.

Megatron

In the seventh image, the arm is attached to the body by cables.

Megatron (Second transformation)

Completely different transformation.

Wheeljack

Starting from the seventh image, some panels open to connect the legs.

Ratchet

Episode 01, "More Than Meets The Eye": the upper vehicle part transforms into the mobile station, as the G1 toy.

Second transformation.

Sideswipe

Two panels open to let out the tires.

Trailbreaker

The rear tires come out from the heels.

Prowl

The "pelvis" panel opens, then it goes back.

Prowl (Second transformation)

Completely different and outlandish transformation.

Bumblebee and Cliffjumper

The hands become the tires, as the G1 toy.

Bumblebee (Second transformation)

Different transformation, more "Masterpiece" toy and not G1.

Optimus Prime

Unusual transformation: the truck headlights run into the robot "hips".

Reflector

Very G1 toy transformation.

Ravage

The trailer seems to tear away from the truck and this transforms into the robot alone...

Yes, "Carnage in C-Minor" is one of the episodes with more errors in the G1...

I had never noticed before that Scavenger became the leg in that scene, but when you look at it frame by frame like you posted, it's amazing that they actually animated it look "right" once in combined form.

I recall many, many a year ago there were some detailed reviews, one of them being "The Rebirth" I believe, that demonstrated Ultra Magnus's entire body transmorphing into his cab section and then his trailer entered off screen a la Optimus Prime. And like "Carnage in C-Minor" was also animated by AKOM.

Relevant to that point, Galvatron and Soundwave exchanging long protein strings:

Indeed, the worst animation is into the AKOM episodes.
Also, many AKOM characters had different details, for example:

Megatron's back cannon

Optimus Prime's back

Prime's side strips

Soundwave's back

Bumblebee's back

This is an amazing thread.

It's interesting how inconsistent they were with transforming. Sometimes it's absurdly toy-accurate, sometimes it's just lazy, sometimes it's dictated by that particular scene, sometimes it's a bit excessively "techy", sometimes it's just plain weird.

Forget the arms getting dislocated, Megatron's "guts" getting exposed is what grabbed my attention.

Also, 7 Constructicons?

If you want really funky transformations, go check out Season 3's Grimlock's New Brain, with Computron and Abominus. Those are really messed up.
