That's exactly what Hasbro did when they made Omega Supreme. They took the Super Change Robo Mechabot-1 from ToyBox, changed its colors and stamped the name "Omega Supreme" on it.duragrip wrote:Stop stealing from the original and stamping a different name on it to sell a new toy.

Seeing as they didn't make another Titan after Metroplex, I'm not getting my hopes up for another Titan anytime soon.william-james88 wrote:You guys think there are plans for making a "classic" Omega Supreme, ala Metroplex? That would be really cool if ever they also make a Devastator to go with their Combiner Wars.

Star Saber looks like he borrowed from Optimus Prime, Ultramagnus, and Superion. G1 Omega Supreme's design was simple and original, nothing like anything before. Stop stealing from the original and stamping a different name on it to sell a new toy.

In other words, you want an Omega Supreme that can't be played with.duragrip wrote:fenrir72 wrote:If theoretically a new updated G1nesque OS is made, would you prefer him to be a "walker" or just plain parts former + tracks? I want more electronic gimmicks. I love your idea about a voice box/sound effects. I want G1 Omega Supreme to be able to talk, have voice recognition software like Siri, be able to bend at the knee. It would also be cool if his movement could be controlled remotely using a smart phone. He would also make a great security system. Perhaps put an Arduino board inside him. You're giving me so many great ideas!

I'd rather have toys that I can play with than have toys that play by themselves without me.DISCHARGE wrote:Sabrblade wrote:In other words, you want an Omega Supreme that can't be played with.duragrip wrote:fenrir72 wrote:If theoretically a new updated G1nesque OS is made, would you prefer him to be a "walker" or just plain parts former + tracks? Maybe by your standards.. but G1 Omega was super fun to play with.
A rocket ship.. and a motorized tank .. and he transformed and walked.. dude
A chip in a new Omega that could work with an app on your phone is totally feasible.

Removing playability with the owner takes away from the fun.
Do you mean the whole thread, or just what I said?Midnight_Fox wrote:What the hell did I just read?!

Remote-controlled vehicles are fun since they're being driven around by the operator and are meant to emulate the moving of real vehicles on a smaller scale.Burn wrote:But you're not removing playability by adding in a function that allows you to control him with an App through your phone or tablet.
It's no different to remote controlled vehicles, or do you not like them as well? 'cause if you don't, that's just another reason to dislike you.

Burn wrote:Know why you shouldn't put electronics into TF's?
Because the space required for them often takes away from another aspect of what could be a great figure, e.g. pose-ability, or the Transformation is over-simplified.
... eh, what's the point. All those in favor of the thread being locked speak up now.
