JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:It's all about using one's imagination with these toys (sorry if that's a sore point for you) and for some that's all they need. They have no need for fancy gimmicks, as a child's imagination can be limitless and you can do anything you want in your mind.
I will say that certain gimmicks can help start it up and/or add to it, especially if it has fiction backing up, as long as that gimmick does not override the child's mind.

Can someone please explain to me their appeal, over G1 Omega Supreme who has batteries, electronics, a motor, cartoon, comic book, video games, and hopefully a movie?
I just don't get it. I guess you can say, as the sexy Marky Mark Wahlberg said to Edward Norton in "The Italian Job", "You got no imagination."
I meant no offense. I'm sorry.fenrir72 wrote:duragrip wrote:Y
This is about G1 OS and not Mattel but if you insist about dragging Mattel here... As for your lack of imagination, you seem not to be lacking any nasty ones in the general topic thread that got locked.![]()
Again, you are really pushing it with Mattel which isn't even anywhere related to OS. I wonder6 what Burn the bearbarian would say about this?

Mkall wrote:I got my G1 Omega Supreme for $40 at a comicbook shop because his electronics didn't work. I took him home, cleaned the contacts and forced them down to ensure a connection, and VOILA, the electronics worked! I laughed like a maniac watching the tank roll around the track.
I sold him off a couple years later for $100 as my collecting tastes evolved.

Wouldn't you love to tranform, articulate, move and make them talk using a phone app? We could have Combiner Wars. I want to be able to say "Rocket mode Omega Supreme!" by turning on voice-control on my app. Switching to fight mode would display a keypad allowing you to throw punches and kicks, shoot projectiles, jump, etc. Arduino technology makes this possible. Can someone teach me Arduino?

Intah-wib-buls?

Leave it to Dead Metal to have the word 'Pronz' in his signature.

And is it just me, or did a lot of American Ninja's wear track suits back in the 80's?

You gonna add a hydraulic endo skeleton on it right? You know, for the punch and kicks you mentioned.

Not just track suites, Ninja track suites!
I saw it in one of the Cinema Snob reviews from ages ago and just recently remembered it, so seeing how this thread is all about how fantastic Omega Supreme is, I thought it would be perfect!

I'd argue and point out something worse, but in this particular instance I'm going to agree and help piss duragrip off.
Careful he doesn't PM you though.
