Alpha Trion has multiple voice actors depending on his appearance. Cory Burton was a Young Alpha Trion.Galvatron: Frank Welker
Frank Welker was the second Galvatron allthough he did technically start the role as Megatron Lenord Nimoy was the first to do Galvatron's voice for the movie. Frank took over the character again for the series season 3.Hot Rod: Dick Gautier
Again Hot Rod/Rodimus Prime have different voice actors in the movie than for the series. It was Judd Nelson in the movie.Teletran I: Casey Kasem
Teletran allso had a few different voice actors depending on the episode. I don't think anyone has voiced the computer more than once.Ultra Magnus: Jack Angel
Unicron: Roger C. Carmel
Do you have some sort of grudge agenst the movie actors? You've failed to list them 5 times (that I cought).
You really shouldn't leave out Robert Stack (Ultra Magnus) and you ESPECIALLY can't forget about Orson Welles (Unicron) because Transformers was the man's last role before he died.
Orson Welles actully died after doing the voice recordings for the 1986 Transformers the Movie. He's the one actor from the movie they had to replace for the series. The others, I'm not sure what their deal was.Wreck-Gar: Tony Pope
Eric Idle, again, movie.
I think that's the last of the movie only actors, I'm sure someone else will fill in the rest.

This could be total fan-invented nonsense, I don't know, but it's something I've heard more than once over the years.

You know I have heard that too. Could be just speculation but I may add that as a side note on the final list. Thanks for the input!

Here is where the rummer gets into "Murky" ground.
Back in 86/87 [if I'm right, it could have been later] Leonard Nimoy himself confirmed that he recorded lines for the character of Unicron in a Sci-Fi magazine, Star Log I believe.
But what Nimoy did not confirm or could not confirm or would not confirm, was wether they used any of his recordings.
What I believe happened was, after Orson Wells recorded his lines and the producers werent happy with them.
So they had Leonard Nimoy record some, if not all, of the same lines.
And after Mr.Wells death they deiced to run his voice threw a synthesizer instead to improve his voice since it was one of his last works.
Saber Prime wrote:It's allso possible that either Nimoy or more likly the interviewer righting the article used the wrong name and it was actully ment to say Galvatron.
Saber Prime wrote:At any rate sence they said Orson Welles died died 2-3 months after recording the movie wouldn't the movie have allready been finished before he died?
Saber Prime wrote:When the animation is done first it makes it easier for the Actors because they can watch as they're recording it and see what they're supose to be reacting to.
When the recording is done first assumeing they film the recording sessions it can make things easier for the Animators. Offten times you can see a voice actor come out in his or her character not just hear them, that's because the animators are actully watching the actor and useing their moments for the animation. (depending on the actor some people are suprisingly animated for people who are never actully seen.)

Oh, and the curse words, that part's nice.

The movie first premeered in Theaters on August 8, 1986. Allmost an entire year after his death if your date is even accurate.
I remember that date from the original trailers on the DVD because August 8 is allso my nephew's birthday and I was born the same year the movie came out.
