Well, assuming you're playing on PS3 like I think you are, the problem is with the PSN. They have notoriously awful download rates. Takes me hours to download a file there that would only take a matter of minutes on my PC.

I think I've heard of it. Doesn't the first Resident Evil take a lot from it?

I doubt it. It's an interactive horror/thriller/puzzle game, taking place in a haunted house. No zombies or anything of the sort. Just ghosts putting up theater acts for you.

Well, Resident Evil 1 was a horror/thriller/puzzle game, taking place in a creepy mansion. I could have sworn I heard something about RE aping a lot of stuff from it...

This is more of a game than a puzzle. The idea is to have more blobs of blue (your colour) than green when the whole tray is fullbladdy bla bla bla bla, There is no real solution to the game it's just a matter of you working out the right strategy to win.

I guess the strategy is "Have fun with it"
BeastProwl wrote:How many Scales and Bones does it take to make each armor set anyway? I have a crap ton of each, but it's always good to know. I ask because, when I made my suit of Ebony armor, OH MY GOD **** was expensive and hard to come by! Seriously, when all is said and done, I think I spent more making that set of armor than I did fully decorating my house. It was worth it though, I think.

I'm not going to lie, that uniform she was wearing looked pretty badass, and if I can get one, I wouldnt complain.

If you're using "old graphics" and "Half-Life 2" in the same sentence, or using "old graphics" in a negative context, you need to get educated son. Graphics are meaningless if the game you're playing is a classic, and Half-Life 2 is certainly a classic, even if it was published in 2004, which is long after the "classic" cutoff date.

Started the game. After a disastrous opening mission, found the leash weapon and a new cyborg buddy (cobbled together from parts of an old buddy). Fought my way through the wreckage, a badlands gang mining operation, and took the train out of town being chased by a giant grindwheel. Ended up in more tropical territory, but the mood there is best described by the chapter title "Whatever it is, it's pissed".
Time to get in gear. got this and Rage at the same time due to price markdowns and FEAR3 is in the mail.
BeastProwl wrote:Graphics certainly are NOT everything, of all the negative things one can say about, oh, prototype, its undeniably great fun. A game can be good, without looking face meltingly realistic.

Bulletstorm gets a bad rap for being immature and swearing and whatnot, (I swear worse than that in my sleep) but I freaking loved Bulletstorm. It's the game Duke Nukem Forever should have been. It really helps when you think of it as Old vs. New. (Grayson representing older, over-the-top shooters like Duke Nukem and Doom, and the villains representing modern shooters like Call of Duty and Counter-Strike)
