Do I push the thing in or out? the instructions are backward and I am unsure what direction will stop me from having a headless horsemech. ANd he is an ugly little bugger isn't he?

Spin it around so he is looking behind him and push his head back.

If I remember correctly, I think his arms/shoulders are somehow connected to his neck/head internally, so that when you transform his arms, his head pops up, but then again I haven't transformed him from protoform to robot yet.

Homer Jay is correct. I think it might be part of the "automorphing" "technology" that Hasbro is incorporating into the movie toys, but to move Starscream's head back and forth requires moving the shoulders forward and back, depending on which way you desire to transform him. As far as turning his head around, I don't rightly remember if that is needed.

You see, I transformed him exactly twice. He is not really fun to play with in entry mode. "Look, up in the sky, it's a comet, it's a meotorite....It's the Smog Monster from that awful Godzilla movie from so long ago." And robot mode is....boring... *shrug* OPtimus is kinda worse. He looks like the Smog Monster with flat tires.

Oh, for those wondering what the heck I'm talking about:

here we go...

Okay...I almost feel sorry for this particular toy, he's not very pretty at all...but this means it has potential humour attached to it.

I haven't seen it, but I have to agree that that thing does sort of look like a protoform thing... kinda evil...

I actually do have a spot in my heart for it as well. It is really an awful movie and I cannot for the life of me figure out why I like it.

I just didn't know if I can admit it publically
