So I'm on the hunt for a Henkei Galvatron at a good price and to my surprise I spotted this. :shock:

Now the majority of fans know what dissapointment this fig has but until some new worthy representation of this

leader comes this is it for now.

Right away I'm thinking WTF...right? So I'm looking this over closely to see why they're priced so high. And the seller has it posted several times over at the same price. If you do a search you'll spot one the seller has posted used at $200+...used!! So either there is something WE fans don't know or this is just a foolish joke...what say you all? :VEHI:

I wouldn't pay that much for it, it's just not worth it. The best version of that mold is the eHobby release in my opinion. The colors are the best/closest to the show and he can be had for a much lower price.

But the seller would then charge $ 1164 in postage? That the scam they usually do.

Errr... isn't an offer different to a bid? As in, the seller must accept it or not. That would mean Kanrabat should be safe.

The seller has the option of rejecting or accepting Bat's offer lol
If indeed he does accept (however unlikely) Bat'll only have to pay $16.99 total.

Sellers cannot give negative feedacks anymore. Beside, if he accept my offer but charge over 9000$ of shipping, I could just open a case.

You know what I suspect? THESE ARE NOT REAL SALES. They are "place-holders". Some sellers got some free listing slots. They fill them with bullshit at absurd prices to make sure no one will buy. Then, when the time is right, they edit theses with the real items for sale at the real price.

Not sure if it's legal.

And yes offers are take it or leave it. Either they accept the 1$, or reject it, nothing more than that so no feedback ratings are in danger.

Also, for that shipping bait and switch tactic, simply respond "I have a timestamped screenshot of the original shipping"

Pretty sure this is just a case of miskey, or taking advantage of free or reduced fees with a placeholder.

He has each of the items individually numbered. Just go into other items and hit sort by price and shipping highest first. Have you had a look a eBay's help centre? Although eBay will probably just turn around and say "we can't control what price the seller wants for it"

The price per se is not the issue. Its how many units he is selling. 6 henkei Galvatrons. see the original post. And yet it states 1 unit left. 6 units of a unit?

I'm even trying to give the sale some justification.....#6 henkei Galvatrons for over US$ 1K. Expensive? There's a sucker born every minute but in the info corner, only #1 unit left?

Is that not confusing or misleading?

He has about 8 of them for sale at $1165 a piece. If you look at his other items you'll see that each individual Galvatron has a 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 before it. He isn't selling 6 X Galvatron's. That Galvatron happens to be the 6th one of the 8 he has listed. eBay's customer support should be able to point you in the right direction if you do decide to take the matter further.
