He rocks anyway, Viva La Revolution! (hums the red flag)

(Still can't spot Starscream though :-( )

He's in the background on the page where Megatron is removing and replacing his bucket head.

I love how Cykill was actually cool in this issue. Gobots would have sucked a lot less if Cykill was anyhthing like his IDW incarnation.

Also, you can spot Sunstreaker in the arena crowd...

No, there's a bot who appears to be Starscream in one of the crowd shots, what looks like but can't be Starscream's pretender shell in another crowd shot and Euro exclusive character Skyquake in a few of the arena shots.

Yep, you can also see what appears to be a young version of Sixshot.

Gotta say that I'm loving this, I hadn't really bought any comics since I was 20 (except a few 200ad's a friend had work published in) but this one's got me back into them with a vengeance!

Awesome! I'm very, very happy with IDW's and Furman's work to date, and the future looks very promising.

I haven't gotten a chance to read it yet, but Megatron's top of the head under the helmet piece... Any chance that it looks like the Decepticon insignia ?

Sorry, it's more like a starfish, but looks a lot cooler than it sounds. he has spikes that fold back along his skull like corn rows which unfold out to stick almost straight up from his head. sounds really dumb, but it works when you see it.

Ah, thanks !

I still think that there might be something up with that, though. I just can't put my finger on it.

I love how whenever we see any "new" bots that arent really given names in this IDW Furmanverse, we know that they are most likel;y going to die by the end of the issue.

Happened with Spotlight Galvatron and Kup, and now Megatron origins.

Someone should be keeping a count of the IDW Furmanverse deaths ... could end up competing with the Underbase saga! :P

definately better than the lack of deaths in the dw verse!. Especially when those deaths are only not name directly in the idw verse (Cykill).

It's kinda cool because when you get introduced to one you end up going "you're a red shirt - you're gonna die later."
