How can you Like This Movie????

Postby Conceptron » Mon Jul 23, 2007 6:26 am

I'd just like to know how anybody can walk away from tripe like that and call it good. How??? The film was sooooo bad! Apart from ILM's excellence, the film was complete garbage. Weak plot, one dimensional writing, one dimensional characters, Megan Fox can't act, horrid jokes...the list goes on. As the SOuth Park guys said in that song: 'Why does Bay still keep on making movies???' Why???

Silly me.

Okay, I'll bite. I liked this movie because I enjoyed it. Fair enough?

It's laughable how you can even find some sort of justification to call that film GOOD. Did anyone really care for the annoying human characters? NO!

Film Sucked, Bay Sucks

Well with an infallible, well-reasoned argument like THAT I now see the error of my ways.

I guess I no longer enjoyed the film. :-(

Hehe, he even used the 'true fan' line in his post in the review thread. I'm loving those that refer to themselves as 'true fans' its a nice handy warning marker that they're a tit.

I'm sorry! I'll do 30 'hail primus' on my original sunstreaker and wheeljacks, and beg for forgiveness from my stack of original marvel UK comics. THEN can I be accpeted back into the fold?

It's pronounced as "TEETS"

Now that it's mentioned here, i remember wondering why Megan acted the way she did.

Like in that part where Sam slammed the bike-riding Megan to the floor. Then this monster Barricade came stomping. Megan just sat there, staring blankly... NO reaction! As if Barricade is a normal everyday thing. Or she just simply didn't see this giant robot coming near her!

Wow! That's acting.

Megan is so hot, that most of the viewers didn't notice or didn't care about how she acts.

There is--ah...no. I meant that I putter around a fandom that has fans that call themselves 'true fans' and would rip out internal organs if anyone crossed them.

I liked this movie because it had giant transforming robots with epic battle sequences and an awesome soundtrack (especially whenever optimus prime arrives and it goes all orchestral)

the characters were done really well, Jazz was super cool, Ironhide made me laugh alot coz he wanted to destroy everything and bumblebee lubricated on someone (c'mon how can you not laugh at that)

decepticons needed to be fleshed out more. apart from that its a great movie. (and if you're gonna compare it to G1 then its gonna be balls, just accept it for what it is. everythings different, G1 is over, it can't really be called G1 if people keep trying to bring it back. let us remember the fond memories of our youth and look forward to new ideas. ;)^
