That has helped me allot because its something i've always wanted to learn but just never had the time too. I just learned how to play Interpol, Pioneer to the Falls.

Writing sounds like a good idea, I'd love to write a screen play. I know I could write something better then whats been coming out of hollywood these days (Cavemen.. Seriously?)

Side question... my mothers birthday is coming up and I wanted to buy her a Dog. What do you think of these breeds

Dobermen
Boxer
English Bulldog (Would be after because they are MAD expensive in Texas)
German Shepherd

We have had all these dogs before at one time or another but which one do you guys think is the easiest to train?

You don't remember which was easier to train? Well, I tell you, I only buy purebred dogs and if I were to choose between those, and money weren't an option, I'd go for the bulldog. I know in my neck of the woods you're lucky to get them for under $1000 but they are just so awesome. I have a friend that has a doberman and it tears her house apart. German Shepherds are great watchdogs, but don't they have hip problems as they age?

Well, My mother had the Doberman when she lived in Chicago and I wasn't born yet. The English Bulldog we had was stolen as a puppy and we loved him because he was just so lazy.

The German Shephard is a good dog but when we would take him running, Cats, Birds, squirrels.... you name it. They better watch out because this dog was coming to get ya! They are great dogs and very protective but again, Simon was taken from her after the Divorce.

I loved my Boxer, great dog and easy to train but I don't think my mom really liked him all that much.

I'm leaning towards a Doberman because my mother had those when she was young (she will be 61 soon) and she always speaks fondly of Dillinger.

Little dogs... I dunno, my mother jogs every morning around 5 am and not that she lives in a bad neighborhood but you never know.

I had a black pug named Colonel Biggingsworth. He and another fawn pug I had got out of my yard and I never saw them again. Bye, bye, $700 worth of dog.

Oh, and male pugs can get kinda big, like a small bulldog, sorta. They don't look as mean as a bulldog but we all know bulldogs are really just big babies. If you're after a watchdog, guess I'd go with the doberman or german shepherd.

Really? I have all twelve episodes. I'd put them up, but the episodes are 24 minutes long, and even if I split them in half, both halves would still be two minutes over the limit.

What kind of internet connection do you have? If it's DSL or Cable, try using Azureus or another Torrent client to download all of them at once.

If anime is crack, then Torrents are the little plastic bag-thingy.

Actually if you get the youtube uploader they provide, you can upload a video well over the ten minute mark. And over 100mb as well.

I was never able to find a female pug, so I ended up with three males. Female purebreds are always harder to get and are usually more expensive.

That little pup is cute. What are prices for that breed around you? Usually they'd be about $300 or so for males. Female dogs usually make better pets, unlike female cats, which are usually more uptight and unfriendly. We've always preferred female dogs but males are fine too. Plus you can charge a stud fee for purebreds without having to deal with the puppies.

well, I found 2 ads that have me interested. One lady is selling them for 300 bucks (Red) and another guy is selling red ones for 500 bucks BUT he has Blue ones for 1200 I believe? It was somehwere around there

I could probably do 3-500 because i'm obviously not going to spend money on Groceries, Gas or spending money because i'm not going to go out anytime soon lol.

Look at both litters and the parents and pick the best bred one. Well, that is if breed standards are something that is important to you. I nearly skipped on a pug I drove three hours for because the mother's nose wasn't flat enough. If you intend on breeding, it really matters to a lot of breeders and customers.

I'd want to know why the guy is asking that much more for his litter, if they are a better line or if he's just hoping for more $$$. Of course, you can also attempt to talk him down a few bucks.

I'll have to call him later and ask him why. I'm sure my mother has no intention of breding them (but i'll let her make that decision) in the future.

Its weird because some people just want 150 for the regular colored ones but I dunno about that. I always think back to what my grandpa taught us, "Whats cheaper now always ends up costing you more in the end."

I should of remembered that when we brought my brother a Rottweiler from the paper and it ended up dying a day later. I'm not sure what type of problems it had but the jerk blamed it on us. We ended up getting into a fight and that solved........ nothing. I just want to make sure this dog has all the shots, vet checkups, etc because at my mothers age.... heart breaks really sting.

really? how do you get them?

I'd adopt and we looked into that option first but our shelter has nothing but pit bulls. I love pit bulls but my mothers home owners insurance states that she cannot have them.

I've had my share of mutt strays and expensive purebreds. Both have their advantages, but I prefer having a purebred. I don't care if you have to pay for them--it's worth it. My black pug was the pinnacle of beauty when it came to dogs. He got so much love and attention due to his perfect, shining coat and beautiful features. Is that a bit snobby and elitist? Yeah, and so what. I don't condone puppy mills, though. I've always bought from a home breeder.

My dad, though, loves old mutts. The only purebred animal I remember growing up was a little lassie dog. Since then it's always been mutts. Now, as for cats, I don't care what breed it is.

Our one and only dog we got from a farm owner whose black lab had puppies. With a rottweiler. Best dog ever. Would guard your home with her life....Unless the burglar had a sandwich.

Since then we've had cats. 3 so far. All of them were strays. I don't think I could go back to a dog after having cats.

I didn't have any real problems with my mutts. In fact, most of the animals we took in were abused and had no obvious breed at all. Who knows what the heck my dad's dog is, and my dad's fine with it.

I'm with you on cats. I got mine about a month ago after not having one for 3 1/2 years. So much easier than a dog. I gave my pug a good home.

Go to a site called th3 and zone. That's where friends get hold of FG.

Why not watch transformers animated on youtube? It's brilliant stuff, and it'll last you at least two hours surely.

What the hell do you do when you haven't broken a limb?

Take up an instrument maybe? About a month off for your leg. In that month you could learn a fair bit.

Cats are great animals and it seems like you could just catch a beautiful one outside.

I've never really adopted a dog, my family brought them and most have been AKC. It was usually the first question my dad would ask and they would have all sorts of papers.

My grandpa was a different story, he would just catch a dog he liked walking down the street and keep it lol.

back on the Dobermans.... the guy that wants 500 says they are AKC and the 300 dollar puppies are CKC. The guy that wants 150 says they are dogs. Not going to buy from him.

I really don't understand why breeders wouldn't get papers if they are selling dogs...yeah, don't bother.

Well, there's not a huge difference in CKC and AKC. I've had dogs registered with both. Perhaps AKC is a little more elite? Meh. What matters is the quality of the dog. Study up on which one you want, and examine the pup and make sure to get a good look at its parents. I had a friend that wanted a chihuahua, and she bought it, papers and all, for $250. I took one look at it and told her it wasn't a purebred chihuahua. If she had only taken the time to study the breed ideals, she woudn't have gotten taken.
