I kinda miss school.
High school:
-I miss hanging out
-I miss the easy homework
-I miss the hot teachers
-I miss the 2 months summer holiday
-I miss the 2 week Christmas holiday
-I miss March Break
University:
-I miss the 4 month summer holiday
-I miss the 3 week Christmas holiday
-I miss 2-4 hour lunch breaks (between classes obviously)
-I miss cancelled class due to prof not showing up
-I miss grades can be negotiated on projects (effort and valid points/proof is a must obviously)
Now, at work:
-30 min lunch
-1 hr public transit time (I could drive but then it's rush hour so it'll be 30-40 min PLUS $10 parking)
-repetitive work
-3 week holiday in a year
Now tell me, why would you want to leave school?

Some people prob just liking boring monotony as opposed to the awesome, carefree(ish) lifestyle of the student.

The ignorance of youth eh?
I would also like to add:
High school:
-I miss PA Days (or PD Days or whatever your country called them)
-I miss the 18 min walks to school
-I miss the girls at school wearing kilts (yes, I went to a uniformed school). Now I'm just too old to be doing that.
-I miss school cancellations during heavy snowstorms (I have to get to work now no matter how bad the weather is)
-I miss buying G1 TFs off classmates for dirt cheap (this was during the Beast Wars era)
University:
-I miss rigging the schedule so that I get MONs or FRIs off for an entire semester
-I miss rigging the schedule so that I get to sleep in every morning
-I miss school cancellations during heavy snowstorms (I have to get to work now no matter how bad the weather is)
Did I miss anything?

Oh right, I forgot about that one. I didn't take advantage of that too much, I'm not much of a shopper, only on Ebay.
Youth is wasted on the young.

The bookshops around here don't offer such discounts... and there's not much else I could use it for...

Let's look at it this way:
20 years of boring>80 years of living on the street

Go back!!!
It's a trap!!!
With more money, comes more responsibility.
(at the very least, you'll be able to buy more TFs with the money you'll be earning)

Wait, what? I never went to college. Ever. And I have a well paying job (in my age bracket). I'm not sitting out on the street.
Eradicator wrote:So I am still in school, and homeschooling sounds REAL good right now. There are so many "gangstas" and "emos" there it is atrocious. I looked up homeschool having low hopes (since both my parents work), and I found out about a "schooling on the internet", I suppose this is basically schooling on the computor, yes?
Can someone help me?
