I went to tru this mornin when It opend they had a new truck in.....I ran for my life to the tf isle to find jetfires clogging the shelves grimlocks mirages! And on top of that commemertive series soundwave! and worst of all I bought two of each figure employes looked at me wierd.

Meh, that isn't too nerdy when you are on a TF fansite...however to most people you might be looked at as crazy.

U SON OF A BI*CH! u got soundwave and jetfire in one blow. nice work. if only i had a tru in my area. so u were willing to wake up about 8:30ish just to buy up a new shipment of toys? i mean thats just kind of crazy to me

Nah it wasent bad wakin up at 8:30 I needed jet fire and wave 2. I was shocked when I saw soundwave I dident expect to get him till next month.

I'm jealous. Even though I already have TFC #10 Soundwave, I still want CM Soundwave. And who gives a damn if they employess look at you weird? There used to be a whole thread on this, & we all agreed that they have no lives because they make minimum wage. I refer you to Getter Dragun:

I saw that post about the flat-nosed prime Ko that was the best topic ever.I should have opend them up when they looked at me wierd and had a battle that would be fun but then they would call the men in white coats to come get me D:

Its not to nerdy. I baught most of Wave 1 of Cybertron all at once at a TRU. I got Suprer Starscream, Megatron, Optimus Prime, Vector Prime, Crumplezone and a deluxe or 2.

I did get a few weird loosk though.

I remember when Armada first hit the shelves. Because the Australian shipment was delayed we actually had waves 1 & 2 released at once.

I got some funny looks as I filled an entire trolley up with TF's and proceeded to the lay-by section.

I thought TRU opened at 10 am? At least the ones around here do.

If someone gives you a dirty look, glare at them.

If they don't walk away in a hurry with their tails between their legs, beat them to a bloody pulp with:

a. If you're at TRU, a lightsaber or the like.
b. Anywhere else, use the nearest 20th Anni Prime. There's always a load of em in stock, and they are mostly metal, so it'll hurt them more.

That post was from January. When I first started reading the post I couldn't figure out why he was so happy to get 2 of every figure (with the exception of Soundwave), then I noticed the date of the original post.

It's funny that after almost 5 months this thread got resurrected from the depths of page 40 or so. Usually topics get ignored after they roll over into page 2 or as they start to get to the bottom of the first page which is why we end up with so many locked threads due to repost.

You feel nerdy? You should've seen me carrying around this ginormous press kit from Hasbro through Chicago tonight. I'm way past the point of caring what people think of me and my obsession with Transformers but this was a new benchmark level of me trying not to care what people think as I carry a giant box from Hasbro plastered with the Transformers logos, Megatron and Optimus Prime. Whee ... look at me! I'm a Transformers geek!!!

You feel nerdy? You should've seen me carrying around this ginormous press kit from Hasbro through Chicago tonight. Same here, I'm too old to give a damn about what people think of me buying toys anymore. If I get weird looks in the toy ilse, I just do something crazy. The last time my bro and I were in TRU, he and I started screaming for momma cuz they didn't have the toys we wanted. Man was that funny.
