On another non TF board we got into a discussion about voice actresses for Arcee. With her concept photos up from Botcon. I decided to throw it in the discussion.

One member thought that Jada Pinkett would be a good Arcee voice.
Jada is short, has sas and flair, but also caring personality.
I think she'd be perfect for the role. Since I think in TF2, the robots will definately get more screen time, since they are already created and rendered, The dialogue will be alot higher.
Story purposes would make her Mykaela's "Bumblebee".

I was also thinkinh of Kate Beckinsale. Have Arcee be a sporty lil import Model. British accent for exotic appeal. Make her a scout, with high speed and agility.
Im biased towards Kate Myself simply because she'd make a perfect British psylocke. But Jada since shes done tons of voice work and has a flair for it.

In the event that Arcee was to be put in the next transformers movie, I don't think they'll hire such high-profile actresses just to play minor voice roles.

Interesting choices for Arcee's voice. And I think that could be an awesome story point, as a role reversal for Sam and Bumblebee.

i really dont see Arcee in the sequel. she was origianlly going to be in this one, but took it out cuz of fans. and it would be hard to have her as bike i think as she would always have to have a hologram when not having an real person. and we dont see hasbro making toys for the dinobots and contructicons (who are most likely going to be in the sequel)

It's weird for me to think of Arcee without her being with Springer

I really like Arcee, and I really like the film design of Arcee. I wish she would have been in the movie. Though I don't think I would have wanted to cut any of the autobots in the film for her. They got the essentials in there I think.

If they think they can get away with calling that atrocity "Jazz" then they probably think a chick TF would actually work after all.

She'd probably be all gung-ho, don't mess with me, I'm a pissed off woman so don't get in my way. Bullshit.

She'll probably "bleed" on someone too... Or take her top chassis off to flash mechanical gears and rotors that somewhat resemble boobs. :roll:

No Arcee. PLEASE NO ARCEE..... Or Elita One. No chick TF's. It's lame and who says the others are even "guys"?

Anyhow, I'd rather see her as a Saturn Sky, which would segue nicely into proper mourning for Jazz when Mikeala notices the similarity.

Wow never knew chick robots were lame.. meh to each their own. Chick robots have existed in Cinema since near the dawn of cinema. They all dont need to be alpha females. Mikaela wasnt really an "alpha" female in this movie. Arcee doesnt need to be also. She just needs to be written well, which is saying alot for Bay's writters.

I created female autobots and see nothing wrong with them. You just need to see a properly written , non alpha female bot in action is all.
