Pyra Magna has an issue with her legs being mis-assembled. This can cause stress marks! (Mine has a tiny one starting but I caught it in time. Someone online sent me this video so I figure I would share it.
I am going to keep mine in firetruck mode because that seems to prevent damage. I know I will need to fix this sometime soon because I really do love this figure.
I do have some questions about this fixup -
1. What size screws will I need to replace the ones that will most likely strip.
2. Can I just get in there with a pair of snippers and a file instead? It doesn't seem to me like that notch does anything but cause stress marks.
3. I don't know how to remove pins, I think I need a center punch and some flat nose pliers. If someone could show me for future reference I would appreciate it!

That issue is quite well known, and it's affected Victorion, G2 Bruticus and TFCC Thunder Mayhem.
The actual problem in the triangular piece of the knee strut facing the wrong direction, causing it to press into the shin if you try to lock in the knees for regular robot mode. That's the only mode in which it's problematic, vehicle and combined mode have no such issue. Avoiding the problem is easy: fully extend the knees past the lower leg. That has the added advantage of making Pyra Magna that more unique compared to Hot Spot and Onslaught.
Actually fixing it can be done, but it requires a sacrifice, a steady hand and lots of caution. All you need is a Phillips screwdriver and a hobby knife. Here's a guide on how to do it:

Good Luck!

Ahh. It was news to me. I figure with so many getting her for Christmas this might help folks who don't already know. If not the topic will bury itself naturally. I feel dopey but my heart was in the right place
Thanks so much for that page. I will probably try to do something when I am more confident. I will probably post the results in the fixups spot for science.
