Man, I was hoping for Animated Exclusives and Legends Devastator. At least I got a Mindwipe out of it all, so it wasn't a complete wash.

Man, I was hoping for Animated Exclusives and Legends Devastator. At least I got a Mindwipe out of it all, so it wasn't a complete wash.

It's so weird how the TFA exclusives showed up 2 weeks ago and then that was it. Generally TRU exclusives flood the stores or at the very least they show up on their website. Neither of which has happened. I'm heading to NYC for Toy Fair tomorrow ... the TRU in Times Square has always been good to me at this time of the year so perhaps I'll find some when they put out new stock this weekend.

Found 1 WalMart Devastator in the store on State Street in Rockford yesterday too. I forgot to mention that before...was too excited about that fantastic Mindwipe figure.

Mindwipe is a really great figure. Only thing that'd be better with him is if his blades were removable to be held the opposite way in his hands.

Thanks guys! Can't wait to share what I see with all of you. I especially can't wait to see the Power Core Combiners stuff and to find out what exactly is going on with the Transformers brand for later this year. Perhaps we'll see something about the cartoon for later this year as well as info about the "Hub" channel.

That's the first thing I'm going to mod when I get him.

Target at the HIP in Norrige had one Shadow Command Megatron, or whatever it is that follows "Shadow" in his name. It looked pretty nice in the black paint like that.

Oh, thought I'd mention that Crystal Lake TRU had 2 Animated Wreckgar's, in case anyone was looking for him. That figure came and went pretty quick back when he first came out.

That's not that random. I don't remember even seeing a Wreck-Gar figure here in Rockford. I KNOW we never saw the Roadbuster Magnus and Bulkhead repaints here.

Target in Yorktown mall had a single ROTF Lockdown, which I bought. Awesome, his robot mode looks very pieced-together, he's somewhat asymmetrical but it looks great on him.

Target Wood Dale (Irving Park Rd.) had about 5 each of ROTF mindwipe and Defender Optimus Prime, I got Mindwipe. He is quite excellent, esp. his gorgeous alt mode. Looks great alongside ROTF Starscream (and Ransack, ha!).

So is everyone getting together should the rumor of TF3 filming in Chicago be true? And will there be cookies?

Apparently I had to go to New York to get Arcee and Ratchet. Diablien and I grabbed a pair of Ratchets and Arcees yesterday at the Central Park Fao Schwarz. I wasn't expecting to find them there ... I somehow missed the news last year that TRU bought Fao Schwarz and didn't expect to find TRU exclusives at Fao.

Guess that leaves more for you guys to find here in Chicagoland once they start showing up again.

Lucky you! I'm starting to doubt if we'll ever see them around here.

Nice work on the Toy Fair reports. I'm looking forward to the Masterpiece Grimlock, but not much else. Maybe I'll snatch up Thrust or Darkmount, and I'm curious about the new Voyager Optimus Prime. Wish they would have talked about Animated and how things were looking for the remaining figures.

Vila Park Walmart, Rt. 83, had one each of ROTF LEgends Jolt and Arcee, bought them. They also had about 5 MP Skywarps at $30 and several each of the Fearswoop packs, $12, and Super Tuner packs, $13. Any of those go down in price much more and I'll jump on them.

Wal Mart on E. State in Rockford: JACKPOT! A rack full of both waves of new deluxes including, Dirge, Brawn, Lockdown, Ratchet, and more. The new scouts were also there including Scattorshot, Skystalker, Brakedown and more. Literally a half dozen of each figure at least when i left. Enjoy!

Crystal Lake Walmart and Algonquin Walmart had a bunch of Brakedowns and Scattershots (darker variants at CL). Nothing new at Algonquin Target. And STILL no Exclusive Animated figures at Algonquin or Crystal Lake Toys R Us. This is driving me up the wall. Maybe I should go to New York too...

orland park toys r us had a bunch of arcee and ratchet as of about noon today

Last night, Walmart in Bloomingdale, Army trail Rd., had several new Deluxes, including Brawn, Lockdown, and Ratchet. I got 2 Brawns, man this a great figure!

FWIW Target right next door had Deluxes at 9.99, but none of the above new ones.
