Yep he's my 2nd favorite in the Movie. I got him 2 days ago, he is a fantastic figure and his Automorphs seem fine. Easy to Transform too. Averagely detailed, but one highly built in size and so much of accessories he is a must have for your collection. Possibly the best Voyager to come out.

I was hesitant about getting him at first as i didnt liek the way he looked. Then i saw the movie and my mind was changed. HI was still unsure about him though but i saw an offer for one going cheap on amazon so i picked one up, and boy does he look better in the flesh....or plastic in this case. Any pic of the toy doesnt do it justice. I know i have commented on here before about the fig but i just wanted to mention that cos i forgot to post it the first time.

Sometimes these guys just look better once you hold them and touch them.....eeeew that sounded wrong...

Get him and paint details onto the face. Jin Saotome's website inspired me to do mine in a similar way. From anonymous, undetailed green block to Green Frankenstein Hulking Kickass Medic.

Simply unbeatable.

Ratchet is not worth getting IMO. Of all the 3 voyagers I have, I am dissapointed in him. Yes, he is solid, and the biggest. But he is chunky, blocky unlike his movie counterpart, transformation is at a simple deluxe level and he has no X-factors. 08 BB is much better than him and cheaper!
If you think that a toy's value is simply being measured by the amount of plastic on him, then get him as he is the biggest. I don't measure a toy's value this way.

I pretty well agree with that. And it really pisses me off he's bigger then Ironhide anyway. I'd love to bulk up IH and carve some of the fluff out of Ratchet.

I think Ratchets transformation is even simplier then my deluxe bots.

I just got him today and man, was he a blast to transform. I haven't gotten to play around with too much cause I'm a work now, but I really like him and he has some kickass weapons/accessories.

I think he just edged out Ironhide's spot as my #1 favorite (alongside Bumble Bee of course). Buy him for the weapons alone, I say. Once you get him in your hands, you'll be glad you bought him.

In the three hours I had free today, instead of just relaxing like I should have, I hit up K-Mart and Wal-Mart. I'm at work and pretty tired, but I just keep thinking of transforming that sweet mountain dew colored TF in my car and it makes me smile.

lol

He's a very nice toy, has a real good "Big toy" feel to him and doesn't feel too heavy for his size like some do (Jazz).

The colour WILL get to you though. When you take it out of the blue-tinted pack, you first think "Ooh, leaf green". Then you notice the lighter green, then you notice the slightly septic tinge on the main green.

Get it, but repaint it more of a golden colour like movie ratchet, or Master chief green. Using some masking tape and knock yourself out.

If the majority of them are anything like the one I picked-up for my newphew you'll want to glue the rear-bumper halves to the legs, or be prepared to pop them back on every time you move it.
