I was wondering about that too. I thought maybe it could allude to some connection that Optimus and Megatron might have in this continuity, and maybe will be explored in future movies. But since this is Michael Bay there is no way of telling if it was intentional or if it was just an accident.

If you read the leaked script, you would've found out that Prime and Megs are supposed to be brothers.

Anyway, my least favorite scenes involve urination. Highly unnecessary. Although Prime's line to Bumblebee was funny "Stop lubricating the human!"...Can you say "Unintentional Porn"?

Also, I didn't like being taken away from the Bumblebee/Barricade fight to watch Sam's pants get ripped off by Frenzy. I wanted more of the big bots fight.

I hated the music during the Barricade/Bumblebee chase. There should have been no music, or at least some music that would have built tension instead of that generic rock crap that gets thrown into these films.

GUITAR MEANS FAST STUFF! WHOOOOO!!!!!!!

...and Ironhide jumping a brainless supermodel was uber-lame too.

:-? Oh please. If you don't like the movie or the designs, fine. But please don't resort to deliberately reading too much into dialogue to justify your dislike.

Just so you know, I like you. :) But seriously, that's just the feeling I got as soon as he said that. I wouldn't call it justification for anything, it's just the vibe I got from that one line. Don't you ever get those kinds of cringing feelings when you hear a bad line from a movie? Or one that sounds like something weird that it wasn't intended for? Well that's what this particular line did when I heard it and that is instantly what I thought when I heard it.

Of coarse, mabye that could be because the day prior I had seen This on youtube. I don't think that helped any. :P

i catch myself doing that on tv every now and then. doesn't even have to be that kinda reference, it's just you see right in the writer's eye and it hits you both in the face

I hated Maggie's face and accent. It was awful.

Not a fan of Megan Fox either. The word USELESS comes to mind.

They just threw her in for sex appeal and it failed. I want someone who has talent, not someone who will just get zoomed in on in every shot.

She was a little bit useful but her accent was horrible. I couldn't stand it.

If they wanted a girl in the movie, they could have very much done without Megan Fox. At least Racheal's character did a little something other than flash her stomach.

I actually like accents but the way she spoke made me cringe and I can tolerate Aussies. She just has a really annoying one, haha.

Anything involving that head agent guy from Sector 7. His character was over the top unrealistic and annoying as hell. Funny thing about him though, when he said "Criminals are hot!" when refering to Mekaela when her and Sam where in the S7 car several women in the audiance went, "ewwww" like in a pedaphile sort of way, lol. Can't say I blame them...

Weapon: Laser Rifle
The beginning with the soldiers talking in the chopper was pointless.

I found Scorponok useless. Infact, the whole scene of him chasing and attacking them was. He should have written it that they go a piece off of Blackout during the first attack to save time.

The lake scene was useless.

I didn't need to see Sam get his pants ripped off while Bumblebee and Barricade are duking it out. Half naked boy or two giant robots fight; which did you want to see?

Frenzy was too goofy for his own good. I realize he was like that because of his name but that was too over the top.

The scene at the house had so much wrong with it. It was too damn long, giant robots are NOT that stealthy (well most of them) and pee jokes everywhere.

The S7 guy was just creepy and over the top.

The Autobots getting their asses handed to them. I know Bay wanted it to look like this a very bad situation for them but come on. Ironhide was supposed to be the heavy weapons guy and he couldn't even take down Brawl?

Starscream go almost no time. I have never liked him but his character is very important to the series and he gets like 2 lines?

I did not like Meg's voice. It just didn't sit well with me.

I'm Australian, and I found her accent annoying. There's just something about an Australian accent among American ones that is just... wrong. The same applies if it's an American among Australians though. It's very strange.

I thought she sounded like a normal Australian, myself. But I do agree that she sounded just as out of place as an American does on our screens. (I think the only person I can think of that doesn't sound out of place with an Australian accent in an American show off the top of my head is Jesse Spencer in House?)

But I have to agree with Hot Rod.I'm sure she could have done an American accent. And I'm just as sure that it would have been stupidly bad.

Scenes I didn't like:

The excessively long Frenzy scenes.

Anything with Maggie. Completely unnecessary.

Bumblebee peeing on the S7 dude. Completely out of character.

The unnecessary fanservice when Mikaela was looking at Bumblebee's engine. All those ridiculously lingering camera angles on a painfully posed Meghan Fox? Could have done without that completely. Okay, yes, we get it. Oh my god! She's a girl! In a movie about giant transforming robots! WE GET IT.

Ironhide's slo-mo jump over the screaming girl. Yawn. Not to mention the fact he couldn't seem to walk, he just tumbled everywhere. Um. Okay.

And Jazz's death. Jesus, what the hell.
Vast.

to be honest, i don't think the autobots got represented very well throughout the movie:
optimus - close as it get's to any cahracter, yet he seemed unable to lead his bots, and comming off a little heavy with his attitude. not as humble as he has been in previous series. also, he would have never left bb to "deal with being captured." every episode where a comrade is in trouble, he's the first to go bust them out
jazz - just a characture of his self. way over the top, course i never really liked jazz that much anyway
ironhide - he sure didn't seem like a war torn buddy of primes. he seemed like a upstarted hard on, and didn't have any good lines that showed his "ole ironhide" attitude. what a waste.
ratchet - did he ever fix anything ever? you would think it wouldn't be too hard to get bb's voice box fixed. other than that ht was clumsy and sounded more annoyed than anything
bb - nothing like his character. i didn't exactly mind a beefed up bb, it's just his playfulness didn't fit his "voice" at the end of the movie. like two different characters.
maybe just lack thier of characters in these bots in general, they just didn't seem to represent thier names like i thought they would
