I had more than a few M.A.S.K. toys as a kid. Did these things have a long shelf life, cause I was born in 1985, yet I remember getting some of them up until I was five or something.

I still have:

Firecracker(a wheel broke on it)
The inner boat of Gator(yard sale find!)
Jackhammer(that thing rocks!)
Slingshot
Stinger(lost the driver)
Vampire(no driver, another yard sale find!)
Bullet
The Collector(I think I actually played with this one a lot)
Brad Turner(yard sale again!)
Buzzard
Lestor Sledge(had the Iguana, lost it on the bus)
Manta
Pit Stop Catapault

Hmm, I had a good bit!

I have a mask toy somewhere buried. I remember liking the show but remember it very little. Be nice if the show was released in North America and not some stupid volume with 3 episodes on it. I read on wiki that the show and toys got swallowed up by GIJOE and transformers.

Lessee:

Still have:
Thunderhawk - it was my first one -there's picture of me sleeping with it in my crib. Doesn't turn into a jet anymore though. The guns and missiles disappeared years ago, and the plastic that the springs pressed against to open the doors broke. Plus many baths/trips to the pool as a child destroyed the decals, which eventually got replaced with black paint.

Firecracker - roughed up but, compared to the others, pretty good. The bike rack is broken, but the bike is still good.

Gator - water damage destroyed the decals, so they were long ago replaced with Exo Squad decals, since I used to play this sort of road-warrior theme with my Exosquad, MASK, and Vor-Tech toys together.

Piranha - Had two, down to one. Windscreen is broken but the rest is till good.

Afterburner(?) - The hot pink dragster. Sadly, it was one of my least favorite. In okay condition still though.

Switchblade - "still" have is a bit of a misnomer here. I picked it up at a Flea Market about two years ago. All good but it's missing the rotors.

Used to have:
Boulder Hill
Skybolt
Manta (was my second favorite of all the toys)
Pit Stop Catapult
Billboard Blast
The Collector
Hurricane
Stinger
Slingshot

And I had most of the characters, obtained sans vehicles.

ow yeah! i definetly remember M.A.S.K

loved it as a kid, i had the thunderhawk, rhino, jackhammer , manta , pirana and the boulder hill base set.
In later series also remember some sort of dunebuggy that turned into a flying vehicle ,forgot the name .... (firefly?).

Always liked the rhino best... i mean its a big-rig turning into an assault vehicle/base, whats not to like?

they should bring it back in some form, doubt if any of the vehiclemolds still exist, and they would most certainly not pass modern safety standards, I remember all sorts of 'drop out' bombs and small parts coming off easy, would be great though.

But at least they could release the episodes on dvd.

You can't have R2-T-Bob unless you include Scott Trakker with them.

I have a bunch of vehicles. Some I had as a kids, some I got in a lot I bought off the bay.

My favorite is the Volcano, on the show it was phenomenal, but the toy is so so. In fact, I think I have two of them. The Stinger was another favorite, a GTO that turned into a tank...oh yeah. =P~

I really want to get the Bulldog, and the Goliath MIB complete, just not willing to drop the dough on them since I have this huge TF collection, and a ridiculously sized Joe collection in storage.

I believe I have:

Firecracker complete
Condor complete
Piranha complete
Outlaw mostly
Hurricane
Razorback
Gator
Rhino
Jackhammer
Firefly
Raven
Slingshot
Stinger
Vampire
Meteor
Wildcat
The Collector
Buzzard..another favorite
Stiletto

Most of these are complete, some are missing pieces. I didn't have them all originally, just Firecracker, Condor, Vampire, Gator, Stinger, and Raven originally.

This page is a good resource for those interested.

Another reason I wish I still had all my MASK stuff - they look great next to Alternators.

I'm anxious to see if the TF2 Human Alliance sets are in the appropriate scale.

How much would a Human Alliance Ironhide with MASK-sized Lennox rock?

MASK needs to be the rebbot for a TF/ G.I.Joe crossover :-B

Joes use cybertronian tech to make MASK vehicles, cons looking for signals stumble upon them. Cobra does something. Awesomeness

The DTC G.I. Joe RHINO is probably as close to a M.A.S.K. vehicle as you're going to get in the way of a homage.

A friend pointed this out to me - Matt Trakker's Joe bio has "RHINO Systems Commander" as one of his specialties. How apropos. 8)

So, has anyone had success finding MASK on DVD. I know it's available in the UK, but I live in the US. I also know that there are some bootleg copies on DVD floating around out there. Just curious.

Well Trakker did come with the Rhino Truck, so that makes sence.

I remember I had a neighbor that had a crapload of MASK figures, even Boudler Hill. I only ever have Matt Trakker and the Thunderhawk ebcause it was my favorite. It never had the spring problem.

What I really liked was the TV show. i thought it was well written and, as far as cartoons go, it kept things pretty realistic. The Sci Fi factor wasn't way out there. If it ever got released on DVD here in the States, I'd be a happy camper. Unless, there is a way to play Region 2 (UK) DVDs, then I'd order the ones with the nice packaging from Madman.

The packaging does look sick i like it. One day i will pick it up perhaps by the time that happens it will be available in region 1.

Alot of you guys have the toys are they valuable? Im not sure what one i have i cant find it.

Like most toys, the ones with value are those near the demise of a line, where not as many were produced or collected. Those and the MISB versions, and of course, the region specific exclusives, like the two figure sets from Europe, I think it was. Helmets are key to the figures, if you don't have them, nobody but customizers will buy them...usually.

Lee's Toy Review (magazine) had a nice little M.A.S.K. feature/price guide not too long ago (within a year, I want to say). You could order it from them to see the goodness, and have accurate market prices (at that time).
