Only if one focuses entirely on the skeeviness in Kiss Players, yeah. But if you take all that stuff out, there's honestly some really cool stuff in both of Kiss Players' two storylines.Bronzewolf wrote:Kurona wrote:o.supreme wrote:Kurona wrote:Oh yeah, Energon was easily the worst cartoon; no question about it. I think it's the one thing everyone here can agree on. Was just making fun of my own criteria is all. Plus, even if I didn't like RiD; I have to admit it at least gave us Sky-Byte.
Not to split hairs...but I actually prefer Energon to Armada. I'm not saying Energon is good mind you..But I'll take the combining gimmick over lamepokemonminicons any day, and to me Kicker is almost likable next to Billy & Fred. I think they along with that pink bunny from Zone are the only organic characters I've wished death upon in a TF animated series.
... okay, we can at least all agree that Kiss Players is the worst thing ever and should never have existed, right?
Yes. Yes. We all can agree on that.

Yes Yes... I am not totally beyond reason .. Well...there was Animorphs...but NO...Kiss Players was definitely worse...yeah gonna stick with that.

I'd pay money to see that advertised on the DVD packaging if CW ever gets a media release.
Um, Beast Wars?SillySpringer wrote:Back to what I was saying before: I really think it would be awesome to get some sort of G1 continuity cartoon with all-new characters.
If it didn't look or feel like a G1 cartoon, then what would even be the point of making it a G1 cartoon?SillySpringer wrote:I really would love to get something like that in the same universe as G1, but not continuing the story of those specific characters.
Wish granted. Japan already did all that 20+ years ago. Go accept that stuff, which they're still building upon to this day.SillySpringer wrote:Having it all intertwine and build its own lore is something I'd love to have, and really gets my theorist heart pumping.

Oh snap, they did it, didn't they?Noideaforaname wrote:Dunno about that second form, though. It seems like he's literally a star now, with the component bots floating around sorta like planets... although they kinda just vanish, and instead he sprouts invisible cluster missiles? Lorekeeper wrote:I just caught up on the last 3 episodes... thinking that maybe it would get better. It did not. What's the opposite of character development? (Because that is what this monstrosity manages.) Character scouring? Character flattening?
Also, I thought that this cartoon thing was supposed to be part of some shared continuity masterplan between film, animation, and comic books. Instead, it is a g1 feverdream.
Other terms for the opposite of chaaracter development are "character degradation" and "character regression'.Microraptor wrote:Lorekeeper wrote:I just caught up on the last 3 episodes... thinking that maybe it would get better.
