If this keeps up it will not be a 3 day, next is a 7 day. And if voted on bypass the 7 day and go straight to the perma ban.

I am also tired of the crap.

It's the writers who write the scripts, hence their job titles. Therefore they also write the jokes. Michael Bay does not write the jokes. Of course, I shouldn't expect you of all people to understand the film industry, seeing as how you don't even know that pirating films is completely illegal and immoral.

Bay is notoriously known for plowing thru writer scripts and most times barring them from the set if not totally ignoring any of their suggestions…When many directors and movie personnel were either publicly or secretly advocating for fairness during the writers’ strike, Bay was saying F’em, he didn’t need them anyways…The nerve of some people to tell others they don’t know jack when they them selves are just regurgitating pious platitudes…He’ll never learn eh?

Click on some troll-proof evidence please, or just ignore it and think we’re just randomly cherry-picking this insipid excuse for a director…

It's ok not to like him, but to bash him for doing his job is another thing. I know that at my work if I have a deadline to meet and someones not able to do their part of the work I gotta pick up the slack to ake sure it gets done.

Oh noes, heaven forbid that bay was proactive on this film when he had a deadline to meet of just over a year to make a cgi heavy film.

Ass.

Bay may write structural setups for his movies and said he did that for this one because of the strike however the bulk of it all including the sophomoric jokes are written for the most part by Orci, Kurtzman and that other dude they brought on. The first movie was written well before bay got brought on so he wouldnt have had a whole lot of input on the front end anyways.

Dude, you must know nothing about Micheal Bay...I kinda envy you...
You must have never seen a Micheal Bay movie other than TF if you think he has nothing to do with the "sophomoric" comedy in his movies...You really know nothing about this guy and how big of a control freak he is ABOUT EVERYTHING (which most has been documented)...I guess I can understand how you put a spoon to your mouth filled with this stuff now...I guess you don't know about how Orci and company had to re-write $hit over and over for Bay's liking or that he reportedly never listened to them (or just straight shafted them) onset...It's must be nice being you...

Alright knock it off.
Everyone ... how many times do we have to preach about respecting each others right to have a differing opinion? Do so without attacking people.

Me or him?

It must be nice to be a condescending prick as well. Writers write thats what they do. Directors direct. They make changes here and there and hell even the actors ad lib ****.
Don't presume to understand what I know. You act as though bay is the only one who does stuff like this.
God I sincerely wish I could be one of the "high and mighty real fans" just so I could know everything about everything.
Oh and how was your lunch with him the other day since you seem so close and know everything there is to know on a personal basis, not just what you've read on wiki and or other sights that may skew things to their liking.

The only thing I laughed at in RotF was the twins because they had a funny dynamic on-screen. Beyond that, I found the humor was tragically low-brow, and I laugh at dead-baby jokes.
The placement couldn't have been worse. There is no reason to intersperse an action sequence with comic relief. All it serves to do is distract from what's actually happening.
Ok, I get it, Sam's mother is a bit kooky. That's not funny. She's caricatured to the point of being sub-human, like some kind of hideous mutant personality inside a slightly milfy body.
Great, a robot humping a person's leg. AND DAWGZ HUMPAN!!!1
AND ONE OF THE DAWGZ IS A CHIHUAHUA AND ITS HUMPIN' A BULLDOG!!!111eleventymillien
That's so far out of left field it- no wait, that's utter ****. Why would a robot hump a person's leg? It wouldn't, the joke is so obviously contrived that it physically hurt to watch. Worse still was that other people in the theatre laughed, and my faith in humanity was dealt another crushing blow.
If I want to see dogs humping each other I'll sit around the house and watch my boxers fight. There's nothing remotely funny about it.
I did find the twins funny, and I enjoyed the way they bounced jokes off of one another, and made funny retorts. Their friendly brutality was actually amusing on a remotely intellectual level.
It's one thing for a movie to have low-brow humor, but as was stated above this was downright sophomoric. It's something totally different to write with that kind of contempt for your audiences intelligence and attention span.
