It's too late for that, this is the guy who officially changed his name to Optimus Prime, and now thinks he's the be all end all fan/ authority on Transformers and Optimus Prime.
The only thing that surprises me about him is that he hasn'T sued Hasbro yet for exploiting his name and likeness to sell toys, comics, cartoons, movies, and merchandise.

I meant it in regards to one thinking in the mindset of the 1980s in which certain things were for boys and certain other things were for girls, and that it is somehow inherently wrong/taboo/sinful/blasphemous/etc. for the two to ever mingle with one another. This divisive thinking is a product of days far gone by, like the G1 era. It is a mindset that is both archaic and narrow-minded at its core.

And, yes, everyone has a right to have their own opinion. But what was spewed wasn't mere opinion, but vicious hatred and hurtful scorn, which is hardly ever called for.

Geewhiner sounds incredibly stupid, and it sounds like Gewunner. Nothing in that term makes it sound like it's aimed at people who still think in genders.
It is not an ancient way of thinking, it is only very recently that the idea that everything needs to be directed at a specific gender is considered outdated, and only really came into play when the brony subculture was discovered by the mainstream.

There are things that are specific to male/ female, and there are things that can and should appeal to both. Ignoring that is narrow minded at its core.

I need this SO MUCH. Aaannnnnd now I want Human Alliance (Pony Alliance? Friendship Alliance?) figures that can interact with ponies. Get on it, Hasbro!

Gotta agree, out of all the MLP TF covers that is the best one. It's also the most "natural" looking one.
The others look more out of place and weird, while this just kinda works.

Well then next time say that or something similar instead of that stupid geewhatever crap.

the last cover is epicly awesome. hasbro seriously needs to release a transformer and pony fig together as a con exclusive. i love this mix of two franchises under one roof. as for the tf fans who hate this, well. i rather not say ;3 but in all seriousness, i wish to god hasbro does do ONE special episode mixing tf and mlp just once... kinda like how jimmy nutron and fairly odd parents did eps together.

Yeah, a MLP and TF toys 2 packs would only work as a con exclusive. Seriously, why not make show accurate ponies WITH ALL JOINTS ARTICULATED? They would have molded hair but a brushable tail, à-la Happy Meal toy. To promote this new MLP line, they could release them as 2 packs with deluxes TFs toys.
