Harry Potter made that in only 5 days.

Not hard to see who smoked who.

Actully a %48 drop is not bad for a summer movie.

KoH4711 wrote:Transformers dropped 49%. This is true. But, here's a little perspective:
Spiderman 3 - 61.5% drop
Pirates 3 - 61.5% drop
Shrek 3 - 56.4% drop
Fantastic Four 2 - 65.5% drop
300 - 53.6% drop
So the 49% drop is pretty good, and in fact is closer to that of Spidey 2, which came in at 48.7%. So, the numbers you've quoted are, by the sci-fi/fantasy genre, quite good. This is why it's important to know the context of the data.
And honestly, no one in the industry or who knew a lot about it expected Transformers to beat Harry Potter out on its opening weekend, just as Harry Potter couldn't have been expected to beat out Transformers if it came out a week later.
Sorry, you're not going to be able to spin these numbers to validate your hatred of the movie.
I love it when people start these threads with "facts" and when they get shot down the poster decides not to post in it anymore. Or at least until they conjure up new "facts" to try to back up their point.
Kalon wrote:TF has polarized people There are those that love it(and yes, I don't see how you could) and there are those that hate it. There is little to no middle ground.
You see unlike you, I don't need to or have to sit at my pc all day long to look like a big man in a thread on a site. I can leave my pc and do other things.
