Besides the BW Buzzclaw mold, I also have a complete set of the Cybertron Undermine mold, with the Japanese color variant and Repugnus on the way. I aspire to have all three of the Energon/Superlink "Lock" molds, but getting a new Cruellock and Doom-Lock at once is more of a pain than I imagined (and both got re-released at Family Dollar!). We'll see if I can ever get around to taking pics of them. I'd also grab any Scarem repaint, even if it was some ridiculous Lucky Draw figure, but the poor bastard's never seen the light of day since BW.

I also really dig the Energon dinos and have them all but the Takara version of Cruellock. I do have both doestic releases and the Magma Type. I simply love the little bastard. I also like the Cybertron Undermine/Repugnus mold. I think I have a love for basic dino molds. Besides those, the bendy Prime mold is one I have most of. I still need Scourge and Crystal Convoy but I may try letting my mania die a little. I can keep my eyes peeled for the Energon guys for ya if you'd like.

For a second there I thought you were talking about the Energon Grimlock & Swoop...

I am a semi-completist. I do like repaints as long as they are different from one another. Universe Oilslick & Treadshot were too similar and I left Treadshot on the shelf. If a character has multiple copies of themselves I usually buy a duplicate. Energon Strongarm, for example, I have two of them in the brown and one in the blue as the "leader". Same for Battle Ravage (x2) and Command Ravage (x1). Cybertron is the first series since RID that I did not get all of the figures. I skipped Demolishor, both Black & red Primes, Starscream & Vector Prime 2 pack, & Cryo Scourge (though I might get him on clearance..). I usually don't buy the Japanese versions unless it is more show accurate than the US release (Voyager Cybertron Starscream) or I really, really dig the mold (Minicon Legend Shockwave).

The non TF stuff I collect is Machine Robo Mugenbine & Microman. MRM has the same "core robot bodies" but different parts on them. They are like Legos + Robots but better than Rev's. You can make some pretty cool gestalts if you have enough sets. Microman has the same body types but different heads and accessories.

Here are a few pics from the plethora of Japanese sites about Mugenbine:
(yes that is Fort Max next to this gestalt)

holy crap that is cool in a wierd sort of way. They seem to start at about minicon size...god imagine them all linking to one gestalt like that.

I might have to look around for some of those now.

For me, any reincarnation of anything G1, except white Ultra Magnus, is a must have. Then again, I think this pretty much goes for everyone. Like theres anyone who bought thundercacker and then thought, skywarp and starscream are just repaints so I wont get those. Lol, paint the seekers 30 different colors and I'd buy em all.

So beyond the obvious, the only other repaint that I am a fan of and have bought is Metrotitan. I think I fell for the purdy colors. :P

I mostly try to get a version of each character I like. Thus, I skipped classics Bumblebee in favor of Cliffjumper. Legends Bumblebee (without the pretender shell) is good enough for me. However, I like the alternator Silverstreak mold. It is relatively easy to transform and is solid in both molds. Too bad alt. Smokescreen's details are so distracting… I got Silverstreak after Smokescreen. Similarly, I got alt Swindle because of alt Hound, but I mostly try to collect characters.

Sometimes remakes work out. I missed G2 Onslaught, but picked up Mega-Octane to complete my Combaticon team! On the other hand, my seeker squad currently consists of legends (or pretender) Starscream, reissue Skywarp, and energon Thundercracker. I have yet to get versions of Dirge, Ramjet, or Thrust…

Aww...I can't play?

How about if it's from another collection type?

Quite possibly, my first toy love is Street Fighter; which puts up at least one hell of a second place argument with Transformers...

Because each variation is a legitimate palatte variation to the character, I really do enjoy seeing the changes the color wheel provides.

I actually have...

I thought I would hate them, but you're right, they are pretty funny.
