That's one of those complete perennial Transformers mysteries to me as well, right up there with, why can't the awesome guys (the Decepticons) win, like, *ever*?

Clearly everyone on this thread is living proof that the 'we'll have an adolescent human so little kids can have someone to relate with' has been an abject failure. At best, as a kid, I was *jealous* because THAT kid got to hang out with robots, and I got to hang out with...my *sister*. NOT cool. The best way to handle that vector would be the way they did Bumblebee in TFA--a 'kid' immature personality, in a robot.

It's extra funny because we all accept as Assumption Zero that Hasbro has but one mission: to make me buy their toys. Yet they never make a toy of the humans.

(Probably for good reason: I'd've experimented with lighter fluid on a few of them).

Humans I found annoying:

G1 -- Marissa Fairbourne

Unicron Trilogy -- All humans except for Alexis, Rad, Mika/Misha, Lori, and Coby are annoying

Animated -- All those insipid human villains, especially that brat Professor Princess

I've never seen RID, so no comments about that series until I've seen it. All the humans in both live-action movies I can tolerate -- well, except that I find that Galloway in ROTF was a super jerk. And I really haven't read much of the comics to get any opinions on the human characters featured.

Yeah, but ROTF Galloway was supposed to be an unlikeable jerk, so I don't really think he counts. He did his job: he was irritating. The others--Carly, Leo, Daniel, Kicker and the others (ohhh and CARLOS!!!!) were NOT supposed to be irritating, yet they managed superbly.

I agree. I wish the Decepticons would win periodically, because like, how threatening is an enemy really if they never win?

And I thought I was the only one who felt jealous with the cartoon kids. Glad I'm not the only one But that's why I'd like to write a fanfic about it. Kind of how a guy does get to go into the Transformers cartoon he knew as a kid, but stuff in it is not as benign as it looks.

Personally, I hate all humans in Transformers, even in the movie. When it comes to giant robots compared to humans, giant robots always win.

I especially hated the kids in Armada,and I also disliked Sari.

The kids in Armada were just annoying, so I never really got into Armada (that and the fact I hated the minicons).

I don't like Sari due to the fact that she IS a robot. Who hired a twelve year old fanfic writer to be the writed of Transformers Animated? . The reason I say that, it just seems as though it's a very Mary Sueage tactic...and I don't like it.

i want the decepticons to win! and i also despise those lame human villans in animated, I HATE THEM!

Nearly all humans I've seen in th TF universe have annoyed me at one point or another due to continually needing to be rescued or catered to due to their fragile bodies and small, helpless appearances. A few that annoyed me the most were:

Danial in Headmasters: He was slightly annoying in English, but he was horribly annoying in Headmaster! He couldn't do anything, insisted on going everywhere, and they would actually let him even though he always seemed to cause problems, get himself captured, or get lost in space ><

Minerva kind of annoyed me for a while due to her constant nagging and goodie two shoes demeanor (not to mention her inability to fight at all). Sorry girl, despite what you think, Japanese dancing will NOT help you on the battlefield.

the Armada kids were all really annoying for a while, but they get better as the series went on. When the commander says "No," he means it. Stop begging to go along on vital missions. x.x Eventually Rad, Carlos, and Alexis get better, but Fred and Billy were just too annoying.

Kicker...just Kicker.

Lori was always complaining about something throughout most of Galaxy Force, so I eventually just blocked her from my mind as I watched.

ugh me too, it's like, I want robot vs. robot action. Not robot vs. mildly or over mildly annoying human
