I was thinking about buying the game, and now that tjheres going to be G1 starscream and Sidewipe im definatly picking it up for ps3

Seibertron.com member "King Henrik" found an interesting article at Kotaku.com. The article is about a special downloadable ad-on pack for the Trnasformers Revenge of the Fallen game.

A downloadable expansion pack is in the works for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen which will include ten new characters, three new maps and a new difficulty mode, Activision announced this morning.

The Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 pack, which is being developed by Luxoflux, hasn't yet been priced.

Here's the full break down:

More than ten new multiplayer characters including ultimate fan favorites such as G1 Starscream and movie favorites like Sideswipe.

Three new multiplayer maps.

Play new characters in both the Autobot and Decepticon single player campaigns.

New Expert difficulty mode with a fresh set of leaderboards to challenge more experienced gamers in the single-player campaigns.

New Achievements and Trophies to earn.

Sideswipe, G1 Starscream, Play as new bots in single player, yeah im sold. I was pissed when they left Sideswipe out. Nice to see they're fixing that oversight. With all the crap they're giving us im kinda afraid to ask what the price will be. So will the new maps be in single player as well or are they just SP maps moved to MP?

you know i just realized now it said MORE THAN 10 multiplayer characters. also according to g4 we won't see this DLC until late summer

I will probably buy it, if it's the standard 800 ms points like most other DLC packs. I like the game much better than the first one. controls are easier and the multiplayer is cool.

I love this game to pieces and I can't be more thrilled that the first DLC pack is this epic. I hope to hell that two of those ten characters are G1 Skywarp and Thundercracker. I'm guessing we'll be able to use Scrapper, Sideswipe (obviously) The Fallen, I'm hoping to high hell that Downshift is a usable character seeing as he's in the game anyways.

I'll throw this out there because I love this game that much. My user name on PSN... wait for it... wait for it... Down_Shift. Ya, I know... pretty awesome huh?

Not for PC!? PPL SHOULD NOT FORGET THAT THERE R PPL WHO PLAY THIS ON PC!! It would be gr8 if PC users would get even like 6 new characters and 1 new map or something 4 free... (And yeah Twins and sideswipe would be gr8 as autobots
