Seriously.

Some British sci-fi show about a really old alien (that looks totally human, gotta save the makeup costs) who d*cks about in time and space, in some kinda flying box contraption that's smaller on the outside, kidnapping innocent civilians to join him on his dangerous excursions to other planets where death is often the cost of one wrong step. It's been running for so long, they've had to replace the main actor almost a dozen times, whipping up some crazy story about his body dying and reconfiguring itself into a new person... He fights these giant salt shaker things with plungers and eggbeaters for arms, it's all very strange...

Battlestar Galactica. Not the re-imagining but a remake of the 1978-1979 show. I most especially go crazy with the War of the Gods storyline with the late Patrick MacNee's Count Iblis portrayal as the "wolf in sheeps clothing". Who'd have thought that the devil excited waaaaaay beyond space and time.

A Green Hornet remake but with the Nolan flair and not the abomination of the last release.

Johnny Bravo live action.

Urotsukidoji live action complete with the "trimings"

Madeus was talking about Doctor Who. That's also what I thought Sto was talking about, but now I seriously don't know.

Doesn't that make Smallville the greatest superhero series of all time, and one of the most successful shows of all time?

nope to both.

greatness is a matter of opinion, and everyone has an opinion

and many shows reach 10 seasons, last night was the last episode of a show that ran 53 years.

I looked it up--and by that I mean I looked at shows ending in 2015 and looked for ones that began in 1962, and...is this what you're referring to? Because while the timeline adds up perfectly, that is an insanely obscure reference.

Also, you could have just said the title yourself. Just telling someone "look it up" when they ask you a question is kind of rude.

I think everyone knew who it was.

As for the goosebumps movie, it's doubtful I'll catch it in cinemas. Might check it out once it hits sky though. I have a lot of nostalgia for that series of books.

Though next film I see at the pictures is the latest dragon ball z movie :D

yes, it was Sábado Gigante

"look it up" only came from me because I realized that it was Duragrip asking the question

I think "Supergirl" premieres next Monday. I want to watch it only because she looks like real dish. I liked "Superman/Batman: Apocalypse" because of Supergirl. It was sexist not to at least put her name in the title, since the movie establishes she is more powerful than Superman.

I tens to fall behind on new TV quite quickly unless it grabs the attention of me and my wife (which is rarely), lucky though that she liked Arrow and the Flash.

Only TV I tend to watch on my own are anime and documentaries about aliens and the like

The munchkins were at papas this afternoon, so the wife and I watched Furious 7. Very good and enjoyable. A curious thing happened, though. At the end, during the Paul Walker tribute, a lot of dust started to get in my eyes.....

Why isn't "Insect Wars" on the Science channel or NatGeo Wild considered animal cruelty? You're pitting living creatures against each in blood bath, to the death battles, where there's a whole bunch of carnage.

This post is irrelevant to the thread. Either make it a review or a suggestion, not asinine questions that you're notorious for.

Last chance.

Didn't even know there was a 5th one of this!

granted it could be awful.....as it released straight to dvd!

but at least Michael Gross is still hanging in on there with this struggling franchise(mind you...he's been in all of them including the short lived tv series)

Yeah, originality is getting scarcer and scarcer in Hollywood anymore. I can't believe a classic like Road House is getting remade. WHY?
