I should be seeing bats vs supes in the next two weeks, I'm hesitantly looking forward to it, will be interesting to see if the "spoilers" I've read were right.

Yes. She basically plays Bernadette without her nice side. Same voice and everything.

At 1st I didn't really care, but I liked Man of Steel, and IIRC this is a direct sequel to that film, correct?

Yeah a direct sequel, it was man of steel two at first but it's evolved into the kick off point for the justice league movie which is due in the next few years. Though last I checked there is supposed to be another solo superman movie at some point.

Anyone watch the first episode of Rush Hour tv series?

ach it was ok, it had some funny moments(involving a helicopter, as well as a pool que) as well as some ok action scenes

nitpicks....in this interpretation....Lee is taller than Carter, nor does he look anything like Jackie Chan, the guy playing Carter tries to emulate Chris Tucker(at least the way he speaks).

they also try to install similar moments from the movie(at least from the first one...i think?).

all in all....it's ok! certainly nothing groundbreaking! + we'll have to see if it makes it to a full series(if it doesn't get axed early, or even gets beyond the first season).

My interest in it is nonexistent about the same as the rumoured Beverly Hills cop series (though at least that's git Eddie Murphy in it still). Now colony is a show that has peaked my interest and I need to on demand childhoods end at some point and see how good of an adaptation it is.

I wouldn't even call that film a copycat as according to the net, it's already been finished and reviewed. Those reviews are not favourable. I doubt we will see too many films copying hardcore Henry's style.

I saw Criminal yesterday. Surprisingly good movie, even if it was very similar to the Michael Bay masterpiece The Rock.

I bought the first season of The Wild Wild West TV show from the 60s, this show is nuts. It's a pretty damn good show if you can wrap your head around the concept of James Bond in the Old West.

I saw The Man From U.N.C.L.E. movie from last year. It's boring.

Mission: Impossible-Rouge Nation is just plain fun, not as much fun Mission: Impossible-Ghost Protocol was.

Finally Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam the complete series and while it's good, it's nowhere as good the original series was.

Did anyone here watch the 1st episode of Preacher on AMC? If so, what did you think?

As for those new series coming out, I'm not really interested in 24 (didn't care for the original either) or Training Day, and Lethal Weapon would be good if Riggs didn't look like a hobo. However, I'm quite excited for the new MacGyver series. Looks good.

I just saw Independence Day Resurgence. It was pretty good, about the same as the 1st, except updated technology, a little shorter run time and more action. If you liked the 1st, you'll like this one.

The thing I liked about the first film was the build up to the attack. Obviously the second can't have that, so I'm not sure about going into this one knowing that. Plus recent events in the UK have tainted the name for me at the moment
