I know, I know, all these questions have been asked before (yes, I've read them all), but with the second run right around the corner in October/November, I'd like to know if anyone has any updated information.

- Does anyone know if the previous quality issues in the first release will be corrected?

- Are there any reliable retailers (overseas OK) who offer MP-05 without the orange plug?

- Has anyone really got their MP-05 stuck/seized at customs? (in USA)

- Is Ebay still actively removing MP-05 listings in the USA? I see a few US listings advertised as unmodified.

- For those with MP-05s that have rust/tarnish issues, or had pieces brake off, are you still happy you bought it?

- Anyone planning to sell their old one and buying one of these new ones in hopes it'll be more sturdy?

05 though.

- Has anyone really got their MP-05 stuck/seized at customs? (in USA) The chances that this happens to an individual are few and far between. Usually, customs spend more time scrutinizing commercial merchandise than they do with products that are being sent to an individual.

- Is Ebay still actively removing MP-05 listings in the USA? I see a few US listings advertised as unmodified. eBay has eased up on this. This became an issue when North American retailers found it a problem competing with the Asian sellers. They put up a stick and the rules got changed for a while. But the rules have been relaxed now that there are fewer N. American sellers. It's not much of an issue now.

Also, it does not appear to be rust, per say. It looks more like tarnished. It is really minor though at the moment, and does not bother me in the least. It is only noticeable if you peer in.

MP-05 is not perfect by any means. Yet he is the best transforming Megatron ever made and I would gladly purchase him again.

Thanks for your feedback everyone! I did manage to squeeze in a late pre-order last week with BBTS while it was available for a brief few minutes. The price seems reasonable compared to every other place selling it. Hopefully they will get enough MP-05s to fulfill my order!

Megatron doesn't really need to be any sturdier, other than strenghtening the ankle ball joint (which you can fix easy with a small drop of super glue by adding on the ball with feet rotated 90 degree and let dry. Make sure the glue doesn't touch the socket or any other parts before it completely dries, or your feet is toasted. Then repeat again at a different 90 degree. This eventually add thickness to the 3 sides of the ball that rubs against the socket, making the joint tighter). Everywhere else have tight, and mostly ratchet joints. Just that the skinny thigh makes it a bit flimpsy, and the fushion cannon is heavy.

So doubted if Takara can improve much other than the ankles, if they even bother to on the 2nd release.
