i wasn't suggesting you did like poopy music. i was just making compairisons.

i was implying most newer bands suck. sure albums sound different from eachother, and they get a new fan base. kid rock didn't start as a country star. he was a rapper, turned rocker, turned hick.
eminems 3rd or 4th album didn't sound like his first or second. he alienated some fans while aquiring new ones.

plenty of bands don't mind changing their fan base, ac/dc uses 3 cord riffs because it works for them, and even I'll agree their new album sounds ALOT like some of their old stuff. doesn't mean i'm not gonna play it at full volume til I blow my speakers...

metallica (sell-out-ica) is over rated, bit they're still rich. they can play instruments better than the majority of us. i can respect that, but doesn't mean i have to like it or listen to them.

Dragonforce cant play the same song twice, but that doesn't make them a bad band.

santana has had like 30 different band members, doesn't make him suck.

every band has to find a way to sell albums whether it be sound the same as before or sound totally different.
