jazz reborn wrote:Eh, the music is alright but I don't like the singer much. I don't know why I'm like people with unique voices like Lemmy Kilminster more than people with good voices. Also Lemmy is from MotÖrhead. Give them a listen.

Not a fan of Motorhead. I like a few songs, but for the most part they aren't my cup of tea.

What's it matter WHEN it came out? If you like a song or band, you like it. Honestly, I like music from the 80s until now more then anything before that.

It doesnt matter when a song or band came out. It is all a matter of opinion. But to actually say that new music is better than old....thats insane(imo) as a blanket statement. I'm ignorant as it gets, Life is better that waybut closeminded i am not. I listened to the peppermint creeps. Not to shabby...

So you would call someone ignorant if they said "old music is better then new music"?
Because I agree, a blanket statement like that is beyond ignorant.
original sin wrote:In your opinion it's better. People who try to pass opinions off as facts are the truly ignorant and close minded individuals. Because in my honest opinion, people like Nikki Sixx, Wednesday 13, Corey Taylor, and Michale Graves are far more talented then Lemmy, Dio, Bruce immaDickinson, and Rob Halford. Maybe its because Ripper Owens lives two minutes from me, but I always thought he was a better singer then Halford ever was

BLASPHEMY!!!!!!
original sin wrote:Which one are you saying who too?
Nikki Sixx: bass player and main composer for the legendary hair metal band Motley Crue. Also started the bands Brides of Destruction and SiXX:AM. SiXX:AM is a beautiful and amazing
band.

Wednesday 13: Lead singer of Frankenstein Drag Queens from Planet 13, Maniac Spider Trash, Bourbon Crow, The Murderdolls and more currently, he has a solo band entitled Wednesday 13.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NMThm9juhwI
Corey Taylor: Lead singer of Slipknot and Stone Sour. Also did guest vocals on "I'm Not Jesus " by Apocalyptica and "****" by Soulfly.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Twol66NV8I
Michale Graves: Joined the Misfits in 1995 and left in 2000. He recorded two full length albums with them. The first being called American Psycho, the second was Famous Monsters. Currently he's doing his own solo work.

Lemmy: from Motorhead...
Dio: Black Sabbath's lackluster replacement for Ozzy. Also singer for Rainbow(gayest metal band name EVER) and solo project Dio. He's famous for the two songs "Rainbow in the Dark" and "Holy Diver"
Bruce immaDickinson: lead singer for Iron Maiden. Not a fan of him in the slightest. I have little respect for that man.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u5Snehl2bAk
Rob Halford: lead singer of Judas Priest. considered one of the fathers of heavy metal. While talented, I just never really got into Halford's vocal techniques for the most part.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=psTUiQzNoxw Though, I love that song!!!
Tim "Ripper" Owens: Halford's replacement in Judas Priest. He went on to be in the band Iced Earth.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MijOujb9GFI My favorite Ripper Owens era Priest song

BLASPHEMY!!!!!!
How do you replace the Prince of **** Darkness with a fairy like Dio? I'm sorry but Black Sabbath stopped existing for me after Ozzy left the band. Everything he did solo was far better then anything Dio has done. At least in my opinion. Plus, Gene Simmons did the Devil Horns first, not Dio!!
