My "Musso" Drawings

Postby Tim Vader » Fri Dec 30, 2011 2:38 pm

Thought I would share a few pics of comic art that I had my friend Robby Musso do. He draws Transformers, Speed-Racer, Voltron, and a few other comics. I love these pieces, hope you enjoy!

First up, my Transformers #5 Tribute. Robby took awhile doing this piece so he went all out on it. Its more fantastic than I ever imagined it would have been. Its framed here in my home office where it will remain. I loved this cover as a kid, and I love how he made Shockwave more modern while keeping the integrity of the original

My sons 5th birthday invitation. This one was great. I love the birthday cake, haha. My son was thrilled to see this piece, and I got quite a few nasty looks from the guests, haha. Yeah, my sons birthdays rock!

I still function!

This is a cover swipe of Todd McFarlanes Spider-man 1. The webbing in the back was supposed to be the matrix grid like on the original packaging, but it doesnt really work without the color. Amazing piece, I would love to get someone to color it up one day!

Man, I haven't seen Musso's work in a LOOONG time. Glad to know he is still doing TF stuff. I wondered why IDW hasn't picked him up to do an issue lately. I think the last time I saw his stuff was Spotlight Cliffjumper.

Megatron as Spider-Man? Ok that is weird, in an awesome kind of way.

I think IDW is insane for not putting him on at least a mini series. His work is some of the best TF art I have seen. I love his style!

Hello Tim I know you from the 501st and you know me (name is Earl and we met once at the troop for that guy with brain cancer earlier this year on the westbank)) (I recognized your email)!

I have quite a few pieces that he has drawn for me and my oldest daughter too. I remember the first time I met him by his house (We met here on Seibertron) he showed me his artwork and all his TF's.. I told him that he was way too talented to not draw. I kept telling him this and one day he calls me and says "I submitted some art and they accepted me". Now that is pretty much what he does for a living.

I have a Kup that he drew for me, a Baroness a couple more TF photos, my photo for Cyber Bishop, Sinestro and a supergirl he drew for my oldest daughter.

This is a photo he drew for one of the 501st's old defunct events called The Imperial Funland event from a few years ago

Good to see you around Seibertron too!
Not a sheeple.
Think for yourself, don't let the magic TV box and social media do the thinking for you.
Question EVERYTHING!!
Just because you have a youtube review channel doesn't make you special.
I look forward to attending a Botcon soon only to settle matters with several idiots in person (yes this is a threat).
