Leave it to Dead Metal to have the word 'Pronz' in his signature.
Cyber Bishop wrote:This morning started out just like every other Monday until about 6:00 am.. I started having tightening of the chest, chest pains, pain in my jaw and back.. Well when the pain did not go away after a few minutes I stated to worry so I did some searching on the net to see if maybe I could get a grip on what was happening..
Well my symptoms showed the signs of a heart attack....
I left work and went to the ER at Oschner where I was admitted almost instantly.
My blood pressure was 169 / 102 and they gave me some nitro glycerin pills to bring down my pressure.
After a day of being stuck with needles, multiple X-rays a stress test and lack of food I found out that it is a combo of reflux and blood pressure.
The suggested I keep the appointment I have next week to have my blood work done and hinted about "POSSIBLE" causes for the blood pressure..
I don't smoke
I don't drink
I don't eat unhealthy
There is no history of heart disease in my family (that I know of)
I do exercise by riding my bike and skating
Then they asked about my other hobbies and work.. One thing that kept being brought up was...
Stress....
Of course at a hospital they do not like to diagnose things like high blood pressure and such, so they kept "hinting" about me going to a regular doctor and getting checked out.
After all of this I came to the cruel realization that even though I think youthful I am not a twenty something anymore.. I am getting older and have to watch what I do..
Missourisnowflakes wrote:Perhaps the stress is causing you chest pains as well. Make sure you see a specialist just to make sure. Take care and I hope you are feeling better.

Dealer wrote:Stress is a bitch.
Beat that bitch! I recommend getting into some activities to relieve your stress levels. I also hope you leave your work at work, and you're not bringing that kinda crap home with ya. Seriously, you'll turn round one day and murder everyone.
Take it slow man!
