And megs (can I call you that?), the reason I'd prefer Takara's Metroplex over Hasbro's is because, as I mentioned before (I think), the price for Hasbro's and Takara's over at BBTS is a mere difference of $10. The question isn't Takara vs. Hasbro, it's Takara vs. ACG/SDCC. BBTS has a used Takara Metroplex for $160, but a new one would put you back $170. Now, you might be the type of person that disposes of boxes, in which case, the convention exclusive version may not be for you. But for an extra $30 over Takara 'Plex, you get that beautifully epic box, as well as the additional 'gated' display option once you take him out of the box.

Well, here lately I've been finding myself saving the packages. So far, only Springer and Blitzwing's boxes are still kicking around, and I still have Prime: First Edition Starscream mint in his box (but recently I find myself looking at him with temptation, wanting to open him and stick him with aforementioned Starscream display).

And call me a blasphemer, but I don't particularly care for the SDCC/ACG version. I dunno why, but the chrome face and hips that are an homage to the original Generation One Metroplex toy just don't do it for me... and I'm a sucker for homages, too!

Truth be told, I do own at least one version of the MP03 Seeker mold: Universe (2008) Skywarp, the Wal*Mart exclusive several years ago. I'd like the mold more if the hip kibble were attached to his legs like MP11 were, and if it weren't so fragile. I've already had some breakage on the left wing joint, which I sorta repaired, but one look and one can clearly see it's been broken.

Simply put, I'd like Starscream to be my definitive MP Seeker, with Skywarp being kept in either robot mode (if it decides it can stand without the use of his stand) or in jet mode (which is boss).

MP-11 is the definitive Starscream. Trust, well... the majority on this one. You won't be disappointed.

I'm kind of sad I sold my Wal-Mart Skywarp, if only because they haven't released an MP-11 styled one yet... sigh. And yes, the jet mode on MP Skywarp is epic.

I was also asking will it be worth it as is, will it sell for a decent ammount. After seeing the completed listings on Ebay, I think I'll be able to at least make 100$ out of it. Also, use (...) to snip texts out of quotes to show that parts were cut. It's the convention and it's shorter to type.
BTW, I never knew the original GREEN MP-03 would worth SO MUCH $! I saw a sealed one sold for around 600$!

That's because the MP-03 designer priorised the JET MODE above all else. That's why the hip kibbles. Did you know you can easely pop them up from the ball joints off the hips and plug them on the legs? I always do this when displaying my MP-03s in bot mode. The stand is mandatory in that case.
