The Combiner Wars Superion replaced the Classics one and that went into storage. I kept Classics Silverbolt on display next to Superion.
Menasor in displayed and my Classics Dragstrip and Subscription Breakdown will be right there beside him in bot mode.
When I get Defensor, Classics Hot Spot will stay on display as well.

I'm curious SJ21, when you finally get Defensor why still display Hot Spot? And why put your Silverbolt in storage, do you feel the need still and he may serve a purpose or because you don't know what you will do and storage is the place for now?

I used to use a (modified) Animated Arcee in my Classics collection, back in the dark times when it seemed likely we'd never get a proper official one. She was a good stand in for a number of years...
...but I was not sorry to see her replaced, and she's since been put away.

Sorry, my rant wasn't aimed directly at you. I just tire of seeing "CHUG" used when it's such a flawed term. I want to see that word erased from our lexicon.

No worries man, I didn't lose sleep. Like I said there are other terms used here that I find as pleasant as nails across a blackboard and I'd like them erased from our lexicon too...-sigh-.
BTW maybe you knew and I didn't but that term is even on Urban Dictionary.![]()
Wolfman Jake wrote:Can we PLEASE stop saying " CHUG"? Just say "Classics" when you mean any modern G1 character update. CHUG sounds clunky and unappealing, is a racial slur, and isn't even up to date as an acronym (nor in the right order of release). If you wanted to incorporate all of the various Classics lines from Hasbro and Takara, you should use CUHGUGLU for Classics, Universe 2.0, Henkei, Generations, United, Generations (Takara), Legends, and Unite Warriors (to say nothing of the different subline imprints). Why do that when Classics is so much more elegant, straightforward, and easy to understand for collectors inside and outside the Transformers fandom?
