I worked on this a little while ago for IDW. It's an adaption of the original Bots Of Science comic I illustrated, It's now a Book, with New pages of artwork and the original art is re-edited.
The original was written by Marty Isenberg, this book was adapted by Megan Bryant with brand new pages at the start drawn by Me and colours by Liam Shalloo.

Find out more about the events that led to young Ratchets first encounter with the legandary Oilslick, spot TFA characters designed by Derrick which never made it into the show but I put into the comic, as well as classic TF characters that I slipped into the book such as FirePrime (RIDPrime) Tarantulas and Motormaster designed by Josh Burcham.

This book is designed for kids to read, but as a TFA Fan myself, I love it, I put effort into doing the new artwork and picking TF's we all love, so I hope you do too

A new Transformers Animated book by the title "Bots of Science is now available through Amazon.com.
You might say "hey that title is familiar, wasn't that the title of a story form The Arrival?", and right you are. You see this book is an adaptation of Transformers Animated The Arrival #3 story 2 Bots of Science. The short comic story has been adapted as a children's book, with new content, but lets explain Boo, the artist who did the line art for this, explain himself.

and yeah I got him, awesome, he's sat with my WFC Prime, BB and Soundwave at the moment
I've got most of your piccy pencilled, i'm onto the "blowing my nose constantly" stage of my ubercold... infact today some of that Nose stuff managed to splatter ON a commission ahem, I had to use some superskills to clean THAT up, god bless you sharpies lol

ERM, this has been out for over a month.

I did post about it way back when but no seemed to be too interested, even though it has more Animated designs that never made it in to the TV show in it(Technobots, Fireconvoy etc).

It essentially 75% a reprint with a new introduction.

You can get it from larger comic book shops and some book stores.

I may have to buy this now.

But I didnt want to say ANYTHING about it untill my complimentry copies arrived, after all to you it's been out for a month, for me i've been waiting months and months and months to the point I feared it WASNT ever coming out.

But yes, I did sneak some TFA Adaptions of the Technobots in as well as others

I'm glad you did along with all the gen 1.5 exclusives, tarrantulas et all.

I only found it by chance in forbidden planet. It wasn't well advertised, but then again I'm pretty sure it wasn't targeted at the non US market.

The arts fantastic, I really enjoyed it and recommend all Animated fans should get it.

The name reminds me of this retarded comic book from the 40's or 50's, Captain Future: Wizard of Science. Saw a pic of its cover in one of them Eyewitness books. Read up, kiddies! You won't be sorry!

I just saw this at the comic store on Saturday.
I didn't think much of it.
Maybe it's still there?
